I respectfully disagree. In most of his promos that are done in a place where the camera is close to him you can see him trying not to smile while talking hard smack on whoever. Yes he fumbles a lot but it's funny as hell and I think he's very much self aware of the things he says. "The numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you!" I mean come on, that's comedy gold right there.

Instead he became a watered down “for the kids” super hero with bright t-shirts. But I still do appreciate Super Cena for how he was very prominent in pop culture and being super memeable

The most annoying thing with Roman's old "Sufferin' Succotash" line is that it wasn't even used in the proper context! Whoever wrote that line for Roman seemingly forgot that it was an exasperation for Sylvester the Cat, akin to "Wow!" or "What?!", not an insult that was meant to refer to a person, specifically. Honestly, I'd love for someone to use "Sufferin' Succotash" on Roman in a promo one day (like pointing out how delusional Roman's become, and then use the phrase), then immediately say "That's how you're meant to use that phrase, son!" & then wink at the hard cam. Brownie points if Roman was to then improvise & go "Did he just wink at my camera? DID YOU JUST WINK AT MY CAMERA!?!?!?!?!?!".

The funny thing about that Jumpin Jeff Farmer promo was that it was pre recorded earlier in the day. Meaning that this was the “best” one out of the whole bunch. Except for the first one, all these promos are mentioned in the two parter from Wrestling With Wregret and goes to show how awful those promos are. One overlooked terrible promo was from Lars Sullivan interviewing. He had no shirt on, even though he wasn’t wrestling a match or about to wrestle a match, he breathed heavy like he just ran a marathon, then went on about how he was bullied, but built up muscle and became the bully himself, making his former tormentors eat dirt and glass. To top it all off, he did a random scream.
