Many of the wrestlers are uncomfortable with going to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi shows have a history of problems including Undertaker vs Goldberg and the plane incident and the government the WWE is essentially working with is incredibly against women’s rights and violates human rights in general. The people not liking WWE shows being in Saudi Arabia aren’t racist, they just have knowledge of context (that you clearly don’t know) and it makes it uncomfortable for viewing. I'm close to saying goodbye to WWE. The storylines aren't doing anything for me, AEW has a better in ring product and everyone just seems content with the company selling it's soul because 'its a business at the end of the day'. WWE has just been on a downward spiral since the Cody win (which only happened because WWE got it wrong and the fans rebelled) and no one is willing to admit it. i dont like to comment on this stuff but i hate that everyone is so negative about shows going to saudi arabia, im a middle eastern fan and personally i dont enjoy that those shows feel so out of place and disconnected sometimes (i.e. greatest royal rumble) and youd be hard pressed to find other middle eastern fans that do enjoy that aspect. But its just as important to us that we get to have the chance to experience WWE live as everyone else, is it not? i personally hope that the saudi government doesnt force some stupid unnecessary addition to the show and that its treated like any other royal rumble, and i have faith that with Triple H at the helm he wont budge as easily to stupid demands, but im also happy because this might be the first time i get to experience WWE live and with the royal rumble no less.
