You will be happy to hear they did, although they dubbed it as one of the worst PPVs ever and pretty much dragged it through the dirt the whole time, kind of a shame that especially the extreme Elimination Chamber got the most hate while (especially as a kid) I just loved the idea of having weapons in the chamber, even though the amount was limited and I desperately hoped you could play this special stipulation in one of the SvR games.

Regarding the "hit me on my two-way" line: Around 2004-2005, Nextel communications started offering a phone and plan with a separate walkie-talkie channel that didn't use minutes. It was briefly a thing and is mentioned in a few pop songs from the time.
@richardtherichard26 Жыл бұрын
And if I’m not mistaken that feature was only available to others on your plan. For example, kids could only contact mom and dad and siblings w the walkie talkie feature… unless of course my parents lied to me, which is VERY possible bc I was only 10 and my Nextel was STRICTLY for “after school activities and absolute emergencies” 😂😂

I watched wrestling on occasion when I was younger in the 90s, but it was 2004 when I became a regular viewer of WWE. The year that had Paul Bearer getting murdered on live TV, Kane "winning" Lita in a match, Lita having a miscarriage, Snitsky punting a baby doll, and Eugene. How I continued watching will forever be a mystery.

the angle with Paul Bearer being buried by Taker was to get Bearer off TV for gallbladder surgery and the were going to bring him back sooner until they scripted Undertaker claiming he didn't need Paul Bearer to be a pawn of his weakness. The return of Bearer in 2010 was basically to have Undertaker to regain his "powers" after Kane took them.

This is my first wrestling event I attended. I was 13 years old at the time, my older sister taking me because I was moving with my father soon afterwards. Cena was super over doing random battles in the parking lot lol. My mother had also taken us to see Eddie Guerrero the day before the event, unfortunately we weren't able to interact with him because the line was way too long and they had shut down the meet and greet before we could meet him. I just remember being in awe of how big he was in person, he had a very wide frame for his stature.

My mom used to work at an electronic store inside of O'hare airport. She called me one day because a bunch of wrestlers had come into her store to buy some things. She met Eddie and said he's deceptively built. He wasn't much taller than her, but she did comment on how wide his shoulders and back were. She said he was really soft spoken and talked with her about Creed, that was one of his favorite bands. It's crazy cause only a few months later he passed away.
