Well , Eddie was like an uncle to Dominic ( not that Rey would trust anyone else for this role ) . Taking into consideration Rey's and Eddie's real life chemistry and most importantly friendship it's not difficult to see where Dom got some of the elements of his heel machismo persona .

Ric Flair and Bret Hart had a rather understated rivalry in 92, that was briefly reignited in late 97 into early 98 when Bret jumped ship. The Hitman, Vs The Man. They were never all time GOAT rivals nor did their paths cross beyond those few interactions, but the story was legit/organic and the matches never failed to deliver.

The Rey and Eddie feud was just such a Rollercoaster and their matches in 2005(minus their custody of Dom ladder match) dont get talked or praised enough it went from Eddie wanting to prove he's better than Rey to fighting for the custody of a child😂. It really goes to the amount of creativity that was put in and the whole angle wouldn't fly by today😂

Surprised to not see Savage and Hogan here. Their two big matches of note are: Wrestlemania 5 (WWF/E), and Halloween Havoc 1996 (WCW).

People who get surprised that Jericho has no issues standing up to bigger guys must forget that his father was one of the toughest and scrappiest professional hockey players ever never mind the fact he grew up in both new york and winnipeg which are 2 very tough places. 😂🤣

WWE might have won the wars, but WCW & ECW marketing teams were absolutely far superior when it came to naming PPV events. If Vince was smart he would have kept his big guns like Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, & The Royal Rumble while using his competitors greats like The Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc, & November to Remember just to name a few. Hell even Starcade was a solid offering. I know he did use a few for a short period, however it would be better to use them year in and year out. If anything it’s a bigger middle finger to his rivals by saying “look I was able to keep these shows going years after I bought you out”. Just a thought.
