There are many accents in the UK, first focus on England accents. These are easier to study. BBC is a good start. I also recommend joining language exchange with an English speaker in Japan, there are many websites and phone applications. This is a great way to learn British accents and fun!

Hi Beth-san, I really enjoyed watching this video. Actually British female are so elegant. I might be very nervous intensely if I'll talk to you. Let me ask you a question. I heard that British hardly cook at home, that's why mostly people eat out. And my friend who had been to UK was like "British are very cold." Is it really? You came to Nara! I live in Nara. By all means, come to Nara again. I have youtube channel as well, so let's shoot videos together. I got started learning English at turned 51 last year. I can have a simple daily conversation finally. I studied hard with YASU Business Channel. Thank you for sharing a lot of videos, Yasu-san!

Hello, nice to meet you. Thank you for your questions. My answer to most....not everyone in England is the same. Also, many Japanese people might perceive the same experience differently. 1. I think the opposite is true for most of the people I know in England, most cook at home (I was surprised that my Japanese friends in Tokyo eat out many days a week). We eat in restaurants for special occasions or for a family/friend day out but not regularly. My family and friends are passionate about cooking and very good. 2. British people are not cold. However, Japan is extremely conscious about customer service, so other countries might seem cold in comparison. Also, our humor can be dry and sarcastic, but not to be mean. Nara was wonderful, I would love to visit again sometime soon. That's excellent, I'm happy you can learn from Yasu-san's videos. It was a pleasure to be invited and thank you for your comment. ^.^
