Thanks for posting this. I'm wondering why he changed the tune from the original way he sang it though. Do singers lose the ability to hit certain notes when they get older?

This song he is having trouble hitting the notes compared to most of the hits Do you really sounds different but actually for the better on that one

He just sings it differently, of course trying to "sway" on certain notes as he's had a different voice for quite a few years now (in 2008 for instance he hardly had any voice left, now he's got a lot back, luckily), but the tune is identical to the original, it hasn't been lowered a bit

I was just reading up on Helen Terry online; she got out of the music end of show biz in 1990, and went into TV production. From what I read, she's been the executive producer of the Brit Awards in England for some years. With a voice like hers, it's too bad she didn't stick with singing; but I'm glad she's been successful in TV, too.

Didn't even like it - don't like his "new sound". No one can sing back up like Helen Terry either. Vocal cords mature yes, but his style of singing has changed too much for my liking..... just sayin'

It's NOT the same but still good without the Vocal Powerhouse Helen Terry. It's just that after BOY GEORGE'S voice changed everything he sings now sound so different. Not as Good as Before in 1998 and 2000-2002 Reunion Concert Tours when his Voice was just like back in the day. Its not his fault, *_the surgery to remove polyps on his Vocal Cords screwed him up big time._* So George and the backup vocalists have to kind of change the sound to support his damaged vocals. *_Adele had to have the same surgery but her Surgery didn't leave her Voice Scarred like that._* She Sang "Rolling in the Deep" LIVE on a television award show after her Surgery and was awesome. Boy George, sadly not so fortunate. Some songs he still sounds ok, but others are noticeably not as good. The BAND is still awesome... hats off to Roy, Mikey and Jon Moss... they don't miss a beat and do a little back up singing as well. It all helps.
