Nico Lord Not always. Today there's much dependency on technology. It's all about the user and a screen. In the 90 we were more free (no cell phone paranoid). We used to play board games, get out more and talk face to face. And that's coming from someone who loves technology.

Im 23 and i grew up obsessed with the 80’s. Imagine being able to experience all these badass songs coming out for the first time. I will forever wish i got to experience the 80s man but there’s a quote that i like “you weren’t born in the wrong era you were born to keep the old one alive” even though i most definitely was born in the wrong era i try to bring the 80s to me and keep it alive by collecting records, cassettes, vhs tapes, driving a 80s 3rd gen camaro, the cameras, the hair style, the clothes wear, i recently also bought an 80s record and cassette player set up with those big bitchin wood speakers.. just everything man.

Honestly, the 80's were a lot of fun! You reminded me of someone I worked with, he looked and seemed like a hippie from the 60's, we all loved it. Going to his house was a kick, he had a bunch of stuff in it that newly arrived in the 60's. (this was in the late 90's)

Cassettes, records, big wood speakers, posters, vhs tapes including the 1988 vhs star wars trilogy box set and hell i even got a 1986 emerson microwave. Im trying to put a couple of neon lights to really bring that nostalgic feel. One thing I absolutely love about the badass 80s record/cassette player set up is those wood speakers are LOUD man perfect for working on my classic car, working out or just grabbing a beer 🤘🏽

I designed the set for this video, we shot it at Twickenham Film Studios and it only just fit on the stage. George supplied all the ideas for the board game and we just repainted on a big scale. Didn't like the newspapers though, they cluttered the set too much.
