Many articles are popping up about reasons you should consume kefir, but few of the people writing the articles have consumed kefir every day for twenty-three years. This post specifically talks about milk kefir and not water kefir. My reasons for drinking kefir are very personal and specific to me. But here is what I've noticed through the many years of drinking kefir: whatever your ailment, kefir seems to address the problem on an individual basis. Tune in to learn more.

Thanks for another great video. I make kefir every few days and I do drink it every day. Been doing it for about 30 yrs. Wow, how time flies. I have systemic Candida that is pretty much on the back burner. I was terrified to use it at firs but my health was failing in spite of all the remedies I had been doing for many years. Im soooo much better drinking Kefir but definitely not completely free of Candida. I also make water kefir for my daily smoothies. I use many different modalities for my health and Im about 96% good but if I could not get kefir I would be in a world of hurt. I have been doing the SIBO yogurt for 6 months now and I believe it has addresses many lingering issues. Happy fermenting to y'all.

Thank you so much Donna for tirelessly promoting these miracle foods. Kefir has helped me with acute acidity and food allergies like nothing else has.

I drink a cup once in the morning and once before I go to bed. I'm a different person. It's amazing. With the whey I strain it and add it to my kids fruit juices they drink. Its great method to incorporate bacteria to my children. Also make kefir butter. Put in heavy cream for 24hrs strain the kefir out. Place the heavy cream that you strained out in a air tight jar and shake till you have butter. ❤

I am SO excited to see how this helps me. I've been dealing with autoimmune issues, food sensitivities, blood sugar and blood pressure instability, fatigue, hormonal imbalances and dizzy/nauseous days, and severe allergies to mold that no one around me has reactions to in my home and even the office I work in. It's been so bad that I've had to sleep on the couch and avoid taking a normal shower, and never dusting anything in the office. The sinus headaches are bad enough that I throw up. We're actually going to ozone the house tomorrow. I can occasionally access trustworthy raw A2 milk, but for now I've been able to successfully start my grains this week with goat's milk from the store, even though it's ultra pasteurized, and have just been able to start drinking it the last few days. Trying to take it slow so i don't get horrible die off reactions, but it I just keep going back with my little teacup for more. 😂Looking forward to having some wonderful turnaround stories to tell. ❤️

@@marieanne8317 I just started. But I have not had a single GERD attack or heartburn attack since I started. That was around six weeks ago. I love it and drink around a quart a day. lol I make mine with raw milk as I belong to a local herdshare. I make my own with grains I got online. I drink it plain because I love it that way but you can flavor it. I just have not found a good way to flavor it.

What strains are in non-dairy kefir? I do alternate my grains between organic milk and non-dairy without rinsing them so there are traces of dairy in my almost non-dairy kefir. I was told not to consume much dairy so I've been giving away the milk kefir I make.

I use the whey to make marinades for the chicken, I let the chicken overnight in the fridge soaked in the whey with some salt and may be some soja sauce, some herbs, depending on the inspiration of the moment I also give it to my dog or to the plants, as I make a lot of kefir and cheese I have a lot of whey

What happens if you are allergic to milk? She has a lot of inflammation in her body.
@susieflorian5978
@susieflorian5978 25 күн бұрын
If a person is allergic to milk the person would not be able to drink milk kefir, nondairy kefir is recommended. But if a person is lactose intolerant they will be able to consume milk kefir with no problem.
@cakeprincess7756
@cakeprincess7756 17 күн бұрын
What is she allergic to specifically in the milk? The lactose? Because the kefir grains will eat most of them. Most people with milk allergies can handle milk kefir, but it's best to always start small and test for a reaction. Milk kefir is anti inflammatory. You could even try a skin test to see if there is a reaction. Always err on the side of caution and start with a tsp at a time for one day and look out for any adverse reactions. If you are unsure, try seeking a holistic doctor or naturopath who can guide you
