These are two rare and important video shorts of Leon Schlesinger Productions and Studio. I'm glad to see that they are being memorialized on KZbin. I had the pleasure of being acquainted with Martha. She and her husband were attendees of honor at events at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where my family and I were also present. Martha was a lovely lady and had a brilliant encyclopedic knowledge of the Leon Schlesinger Studio. She started working at the studio during the Depression and had many stories to tell, and many memorialized in her great book. Her presence brightened up a room and she is sorely missed by everyone that knew her.

According to most of the animators Leon Schlesinger was said to be a great boss and nice to work with. Even though he was pretty much a money man He allowed the animators to create whatever they wanted and he had an amazing sense of humor upon himself. He was also better to work for than Fred Quimby of MGM and Walt Disney. The saddest part of Leon was he never won an Oscar.

Agreed. The artistry and design of the characters were very good and the gags very clever. It took the perfect voice artist to make them come to life and to make them as memorable as they were. Mel Blanc was a once in a billion talent. The money they saved by having him do nearly all the voices allowed them to produce higher quality cartoons than most studios, especially by the time the 1950s rolled around.

I am pretty sure that movie was only distributed among the employees and that you won't find it in a commercial form. But feel free to watch it as often as you like.
