Great knowledgable commentary Tony and good advice ref the clothing. Stake pass and Skiddaw sections were my favourite of the entire way.

Thanks Ian, much appreciated 😁. They are both great sections in stunning locations. The Borrowdale Valley is hard to beat with its scenery and villages and the wilderness on day 4 is a lovely contrast. Enjoy it out there mate 🥾😁⛰️

Morning Tony. Brilliant again mate. Day three is a long old day isn’t it? Some amazing views though. I loved Langdale Combe between Mickledon and Langstrath at the top of Stakes pass. I plan on doing a wild camp there. You got some amazing drone footage of the waterfalls. It looked like you had very similar weather to us on that day. All the best mate 😀🥾⛰

Thanks mate, it’s a long day but very changeable landscape and it was nice to see how my previous hikes fitted together. I’ll look forward to taking Allison on that one in the future. Enjoy it out there mate ⛰️😁🥾

Fantastic hike out. Loved every minute of this. I know much of the area being a lakeland lass. But never done that hike. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't live in lakeland anymore but visit often. Fantastic drone flights, too. You have touched on a marvellous place I love so much. Thank you. ❤ liked and subscribed 🫡👍👍

Thanks for taking us along your Cumbria Way trip. It's been very informative. I'll be doing it next August with my bro-in-law in six days and because we're doing Keswick to Rosthwaite, then Rosthwaite to Langdale, so two shorter days, we're walking up Catbells instead of walking along Derwent Water. After watching this I'm thinking of adding in Castle Crag as well before we finish for the day. Do you think that's too ambitious? Cheers.

@@dancleasby151 Hi Dan, I’m glad you enjoyed it mate. You will be able to get Catbells no problem. I’d say that from the point where I spot the paddle boarders there is a split. If you take the more obvious up (if you check out my Jaws of Borrowdale video it is the path Allison starts to take before I tell her to switch to the lower one) you can do Castle Crag if you have an hours light left. My advice really would be to do it as the start of your next day as it’s only about 15 mins from Rosthwaite and the trip over to Langdale is probably 4 hours to Old Dungeon Ghyll so it depends where you are staying. I hope you both have a great time, let me know how you get on. All the best out there mate 🥾😁⛰️

@@trekkingwithtony Sounds like a plan, thanks for the advice! We can do Catbells on the way from Keswick, then we can backtrack a bit and do Castle Crag the next day as we'll have plenty of time. Staying at Yew Craggs which is just north of Rosthwaite. 👍

@@dancleasby151 You’ll be all good there mate. Pop in to the Millican Dalton caves on the way there. Hardly anyone knows about them but he’s a true legend recognised by wainwright 🥾
