I've just come across your channel. Really enjoyed all five days of your journey. Day 2 looked the most interesting and it seemed you both thought that too. Well done to you both on completing the challenge. I'm off to watch some of your other content too now. Inspiring stuff!

Hi Tony. I have only just found your channel. Enjoyed the walk. Just a personal opinion, but I would prefer to see fewer selfie shots and more views of what you are seeing. Not a criticism of you personally, I'm just not a big fan of selfies. I like to see the track as I would if I was actually going on the walk with you. Best regards. 🙂

Hi Tony, On this one I didn’t have my clip on mic and the front and back mics on GoPros give different audio sounds (which makes editing difficult) so I was using the front mic more (so more of me than usual). If you would like to watch some other walks of mine you may find them more to your liking. All the best mate 🥾😁⛰️

Thanks Paula, It is a tricky route and even Wainwright puts it as more of a climb than a walk. However, there is a route to the right which avoids it if you still fancy the walk. It’s got great views ⛰️😁🥾

Enjoyed that one through very familiar territory around Elterwater. We go to the Langdale hotel a week on Thursday and planning to go up Pike O Blisco with the Mrs weather permitting and also bag a couple more Wainwrights on the Friday. Intention is to do a vlog on the POB walk. Talking of Wainwrights we will be in there on the Thursday and Friday evening hope the log fire will be raging. I hate flying my drone over water I get nervous, great shots tho, Tony.

Hi Mike, Glad you enjoyed it mate. POB is a great walk, it’s on my re-record list for this year. I’ll look forward to seeing your route ⛰️. I hope it stays clear for you. Yes, I’m very careful of the trees around water so tend to go pretty high😅. Enjoy your trip mate ⛰️😁🥾

Haystacks was my very first Wainwright in 2021. I found the scramble at the summit a challenge- age 61, but I have now got more confident. I did the 3 other Buttermere fells last year. I too had spectacular views. Great video.

Hi Paula, That’s quite an achievement, it is a beautiful area with some tricky Wainwrights. I’m glad you got the views as it has some of the finest in Lakeland. Enjoy it out there 🥾😁🥾

Cheers Tony for bringing us another great walk. I used to do Tarn Hows with my family because of it's easy access and it wasn't until I started doing the Wainwrights that we ventured further and found so many more beautiful places with stunning views to visit. Black fell is such an easy walk for such a fantastic return. You receive so much for so little. Keep doing what you do Tony you give so many people who can't do the hard work so much pleasure.

Hi Tony, happy new year to you mate. A cracking little walk that, a lovely are to walk in. I think I tied in Holme Fell when I did Black Crag. I was out on Saturday on Eagle Crag and Sergeant's Crag. Was nice to get a bit of snow on a walk. I used to really trust MWIS for the weather. To be honest they seem to get it wrong now as much as any of the forecasts. 🤣🤣 All the best mate, hopefully we can get a meet up this year. 🤞

Hi Dave, Happy New Year to you and yours 🥳. I was hoping to do Holme Fell but it was flooded near Yew Tree Tarn so I’ll show it a bit later in the year. Fortunately it’s been wrong in my favour until now so it’s still in my favour😂. Nice, I love Eagle Crag. There was a bit in Angletarn Pikes where I was but probably more now. Yes mate, we will need to make that happen 🤞🏻. Enjoy it out there mate ⛰️😁🥾

You will pass the slate quarry which you can go down and visit. Here is the route Holme and Black Fells on AllTrails www.alltrails.com/en-gb/trail/england/cumbria/holme-and-black-fells?sh=pbgu5m Enjoy it ⛰️😁🥾

As you asked for routes, here was one of my wife and myself's. Start from Monk Coniston car park on the north edge of Coniston water and take the path across the field through the grounds of monk coniston plantation to the sharp bend in the B5258. Cross the road and follow the path through the woods to the main car park at Tarn Hows. Round the tarn and back down threw the woods.

Great video again Tony, we've just been saying how professional they look, and really interesting to hear your thoughts on solo walking. I decided 18 months ago to re-bag all the Wainwright's before my 60th birthday in 8 years time, then last year proved to be very busy!
