Cumbria Way Day 4

Day 4 of our incredible Cumbria Way adventure has been nothing short of breathtaking! From Dungeon Ghyll to Borrowdale, the trail treated us to another day of stunning weather and jaw-dropping views. The scenery, especially around Stake Pass, was simply spectacular. The symphony of singing birds and cascading waterfalls added an extra layer of magic to our hike, making us feel truly alive. We took a well-deserved break halfway down Stake Pass, enjoying a leisurely lunch while soaking in the panoramic vistas. With a shorter distance today, we decided to veer slightly off the route to indulge in some refreshments at the charming pub in Stonethwaite. Afterward, we strolled along the riverbank for a mile back to the Royal Oak Hotel, where piping hot coffee and delicious cream scones awaited us.
