Once you have a dropped liner and blown head gasket you don’t get coolant consumption. You get compression in cooling system

Bought a new head for my 5.9 Cummins once. Blew the head gasket a few months later. I believe it was because the new head wasn't surfaced properly. Wasn't flat. Something to watch out for

@@TruckYoo mine was brand spankin new too, but still blew the gasket and I used a different machine shop when it did and they had to surface that brand new head flat. ✌

The Cummings ISX engine for 2013 was a piece of crap. They eat up camshafts along with many other problems EGR leaks all of it

At 2:13 Joe is pointing at the six o'clock of the circle (cylinder hole) At the five thirty (Away from axiel The Perifial) of the circle Is a spot like a stain Just south of the water port which he points out That stain ( so to say) Is ugly Ok look 2:14 he touches The exact spot.. Again 2:30

I've got a 2013 587 and I'm going through the same thing right now 25,000 in repairs on an engine that was brand new from Cummings 14 months ago. The engine has never been hot! Never! blew the head gasket in the same exact place you just pointed to also had a bad lobe on the camshaft this truck didn't have but 80,000 mi on it after the engine was put in it. forums on the internet everybody is talking about the same problem they eat up camshafts and blow head gaskets

I know right I’m tired of wasting my money on these fuckers that don’t know what they’re doing $3,500 here $6,900 there $23,000 here and so on lol I’ve spent money on fixed problems more then once if you know your shit you fix the problems not the issues caused by the real problems

I have found a Volvo D11 with of Hp405 on it 2015 .My question is like is this engine or truck good for over the road runs with load of 75 to 80 thousand on it? Planning to put truck on landstar. Why do these manufactures not use MLS Head Gaskets? MLS (Multi-Layer-Steel) is far superior to Graphite or composite gaskets.

Well you’re supposed to do the valid yesterday and a half 1,000,000 miles it probably just wasn’t a well-maintained motor with no p.m. cycle and that’s why he didn’t see the transmission cooler lines Alden getting cracked up and shit and why he overheated it

I dont know why but i didnt take it apart but it could have been as simple as an oil cooler!! And new head!!!!!!!! Crazy expensive.. dont use this shop people..
