You no how many people in the us would love to have that truck for sure?? I bet you couldn’t even count how many people would love to have that truck!! I mean really who doesn’t like the good old square body trucks!! They are one of my favorites besides the 1967-1972 Chevy round trucks they call them and is also ones that I have also!! These are by far my favorite trucks out there and have had more than one of each for the past 30 years!!

Bulkhead connector next to brake booster is actually a main fusible link for the truck, it runs power down to the starter. You don't need it. Hubcaps are typical for Chevy Scottsdale 1977 3/4 ton 4x4. You can still find a set with the hole in it for the front hubs, so you can fit it over the full floating axle hub on the rear. You'll have to do some trimming to remove the inner ring, that should give you enough room to fit over FF axle hubs.

Hey, I think I thought I forgot you have a water jet?! That's freakin' METAL bro! Love the truck... I'm torn cuz I've had about 4 RAM's but in highschool had a 76 Metallic Blue ScottsDale on 4" lift and 35's with the old roll bar and KC lights and Billet grill that I caught air late one night wheeling in the rain and tossed the battery into the hood that threw sparks out off the front on landing! IT seemed fine so we bailed out of there and it totally blacked out heading up the narrow squirrly road... the battery was melted against the exhaust, haha... oops. At work the next day I found the broken front spring shackle so the front leaf was 1 inch from disaster floating on the frame!

Excellent video Halfass Kustoms (Brent) :) for gauges give my idea what is do ring sleeve fit over also put 4 tabs outside to small screws on back side out gauges of Fuel also Speedometer ones for 4 small one do ring each to also plus 2 screws too hold them up in place too and take task too ! Also front & back wheels use ring 1/4 thick spacers too so hubs fit perfectly plus lug nuts too and dog dish fits excellent to perfect no cut needed! Also battery use 1/2 thick battery sizes also 14 gauge on starter plus alternator wire up and ground cable pig tail on each battery to rad to fender to engine block even transmission on too fire wall to cab also box to frame in pairs of 2 each ! Tell why one is factory and 2 is better than factory and save of bad electronics burn up also nice grounded too! Plus Alternator won't be working hard or overtime and recharge battery full faster also not burn out starter to early in life also Alternator too! He get 5 to 7 years on battery to Alternator and Starter to before need change it maybe and hope he clean connections to on regular basis too! Plus grounded helps keep Am/Fm radio get electronic from Alternator whines to and if put CB radio in too ! Sorry be long message Brent :) but offer my support also help also done this to for my vechile for years also others and got lots happy comments too!

Hello Brent, I don't know what you used to butcher that stuff out with butt I can tell you that a multi-tool would be the real answer into doing that dashboard. Although you've probably done a lot more of that stuff than me but I probably use the multi tool more than you and I can tell you leveling that stuff straight across will give you the right pitch and then you'll be able to bolt those in properly. As far as the ring idea that you had for the GPS speedometer you are spot-on with that idea that's for sure. Thanks for sharing these builds man you give me great ideas with all this stuff going on I just about finished with my K 2500 as far as getting it operational after 4 years parked. I think I got a swell deal, it was a City truck and I really didn't know it was four-wheel drive until I looked more closely and I spotted it. And I bought it and been working on it since but she's just about there. Any how many blessings for you and your family.

I don't know why you don't like the square bodies I love these older style trucks. Their definitely build better than the newer Chevy's that's for sure. My Son just bought a brand new 1500 GMC Sierra Elevation. Mine you its got all the bells and whistles and it's a comfortable truck and all but I still would prefer A chevy 3 by 3 than the newer model and He paid a crazy $70,000 for it, which I think is ridiculous money.
Square body cummins swapped 3x3 update she's almost mobile.
