In general the refit looks exciting, especially with the introduction of The Wellness Cafe which we loved on Queen Anne.

Hi Chris. On the QA, the Main Pool with the Wellness Cafe on the upper level is a beautiful and functional space. With the checkerboard tile, and the decor, would be nice if they replicated it on QE during her refit. The Queens Room renderings are really beautiful and the color palette is wonderful. Hopefully it will be as amazing in person as it is in renderings. There are a few things I think could be cross pollinated aboard the other Cunard ships, and some not less so, right ?? Any changes to the Queens Room have to be AMAZING. She has to have the "Glorious Factor" that the QA lacks, Booo...

I sailed Queen Elizabeth in July and she is very well kept. Other than technical updates (USB plugs), she really doesn't need a refurb. Though the Wellness Cafe sounds great. I'll be on Queen Anne in January so I'll check it out.

The images look very nice . But keep her QE, not a duplicate of the Queen Anne . Time will tell .

Excited to sail on her in July, just wish the entertainment system and USB ports went to all cabin grades like they do in Queen Anne! Come on Cunard, it’s 2024! PS Just got off QM2 and purchased your book QM2 a Photographic Journey!

The Queen Elizabeth is my second favourite Cunarder ( just slightly after the magnificent Queen Mary 2 ) ! I’ve sailed on her twice, and she is truly beautiful and inspiring. I’m booked aboard her for one of her last Alaskan cruises in July 2025 just before she switches over to the new Caribbean cruises. So I will let you know about the changes made in the refurbishments. Judging from the concept artwork you’ve posted in this video, it looks like the main changes will be new carpets, upholstery and paint changes to bulkheads. That I can live with as long as they don’t change her gorgeous Art Deco style!! NO COLD , UNWELCOMING AND STERILE Queen Anne interior vibes !!! Please Cunard 🙏 You said changes will be made to the Garden Lounge. One of the changes I already know! On my last Queen Elizabeth cruise, one of the higher ranking officers told me personally that the Large Mural in the lounge will be taken down and replaced with different artwork ! I was very pleased to hear this! The Ugly Graffiti inspired Artwork that has been featured there for the last couple of years is TRULY HIDEOUS ! Looks like something spray painted on a wall in one of the rundown least desirable areas of a town. Truly hideous and out of place on a ship as beautiful and elegant as Queen Elizabeth !! Anyway Chris, thank you for another wonderful video and keep the fantastic maritime books coming ! I own and enjoy them all !

I have scheduled cruises right before and right after the refurbishment. I was suspicious that there was down time in Singapore😀. I hope the QE will be ready on 3/14/25

The proof is in the pudding. We will be on board the QE on April 7 next. Joining her in Yokohama Japan, for a 19 day voyage around Japan and Korea. Will have plenty of time to assess the changes. Looking forward to it. 😁😁🇦🇺🇦🇺

Like Queen Elizabeth because of the Art Deco look. Very unsure after refurb what will be left of this. Certainly from the pictures the ballroom will be losing a lot of it's current Art Deco
