Wow, and thank you very, very much! I greatly appreciate the support and happy you enjoyed the video. The content and research took the last five weeks to compile. I thoroughly enjoyed the collection of data, over 40 walks, two swims, over 30 nights of sleeping, and hours of just navigating the watches. The new Wellness Check feature, oh yeah, over 70 of those since it was released ;)

Thank you and happy to hear you are able to unwind after a long day at the office. 'Tis important, and often vital to "unwind."

First comment or 2nd comment by the time I’m writing this I watched the whole 51 mins very nice very informative very knowledgeable 🙌👍 I feel coros, garmin, suunto should discount there prices after a year example if AW1 was $800 launched date now can you $400 used/refurbished maybe 6 ish brand new if you are lucky get a great bargain I won’t mention galaxy watches 😂 less than 6 months prices drop quick I mean the value drops but you get a good price Back to the topic now it’s going to be battle for the next vertex 3 series & garmin 8 series It’s going to be a real battle for the $1000 they have pull all the cards found brand new feature that hasn’t been thought of Anyway I gone in enough Fantastic video as always Pete 🙌👍👏

Excellent comments, BigMaxCC, and yeah, the Vertix 3 and Fenix 8 should be quite the wearable for our large wrists ;) I wonder what Apple will include with the AWU 3.0?

I couldn't give up vertix 2 ever
@PeterHerget10 ай бұрын
Ah yes, a Vertix 2.0 fan and I completely understand the why. I am boxing mine up tomorrow morning and shall miss the large display, accuracy, and three to six weeks of battery life :)

OK, Peter, time to update the favorite all around watch. I'll take the pressure off. What are you top five favorite all around watches?
@PeterHerget10 ай бұрын
My top five, eh? Let me ponder the question for a few thousand steps...

Coming from a military background... that Vertix 2 is built like TANK.
@PeterHerget10 ай бұрын
Yes, a very nice looking tank too 😎

Does one use an ECG for the test? Only reason I can see that you would have to touch the bezel is to complete a circuit for an ECG.
@PeterHerget10 ай бұрын
Those were my thoughts too. I didn’t find any ECG specs for the Vertix 2. The whole completing a circuit makes sense. I don’t know how COROS does the Health Check measurements with their Apex 2 watches 🤔

It bothers me about the steps, also, so I have to edit them in on the app.
@PeterHerget10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! So, it bothers you that the step count is not listed in the Garmin Connect app?
@FiremanFrach10 ай бұрын
@@PeterHerget Yes, when I was on the treadmill at work. What bothered me more was that the distance would be off and I’d have to manually edit that. I retired in June and I don’t have a treadmill at home so that’s no longer an issue.

10:17 I laugh because I worked a festival over the weekend, 35 hours on my feet serving food between Fri, Sat and Sun. I skipped gym this morning exhausted, I did not track the weekend as an activity and my Coros app says I’m 100% recovered, I may well have been sedentary apparently.
@PeterHerget7 ай бұрын
Yeah, sometimes the recovery numbers from watches is a little off 😧 Just 18 more months and the accuracy could blow both our minds 🤞

10% off steps counter, really ?
@PeterHerget7 ай бұрын
After their recent two updates, well... Yes, COROS is about 400 to 500 away from my Garmin watches. Ergo, 10% off is not longer valid. It appears I will need to update my channel with another COROS watch review.
