Ya know, I have actually said that in an un-ironic manner. I'm over 40, I have no idea what is considered racist anymore, so if I touch on something that I think could(with thinking in a very off kilter manner) be seen as racist I tend to preface it with that. I mean, I have been told I am sexist for opening a door for a woman, racist for saying that 'Shaft" was part of a type of movie popular in the 70s that were called "Blaxploitation movies" and that the term "Negro league" is a racial slur... So, yeah, a little non-sequitur, but it sorta triggered a "oh, right, I remember something about that" kinda reaction.
