Ahmaud’s father’s outburst was entirely understandable, but the judge’s response was entirely right. He has been very careful to ensure that this case is beyond reproach, not giving the defence teams the slightest opening for a mistrial or grounds for appeal. In that respect he has done his job to bring justice for Ahmaud.

I have watched much of this trial several times as well & was very proud of the prosecution team for an excellent job to bring justice for this heinous act committed by these 3 cowardly men. Though I fully understand the sentiment, I think bringing joy to one’s soul is inappropriate because at the end of the day, Ahmaud is dead & his family & friends will forever have a hole in their life. These 3 men, in a complete racist act of stupidity & arrogance destroyed Ahmaud’s family, their own families, their entire community where they lived & to our country where racism is still a very much hot button. When will it ever end? These men will die in prison & for what, acting out like vigilantes from the 1950’s?? So sad that education is lost & a primitive mindset prevailed. I do take comfort that these men got justice & I hope everyone else can heal ….

I worked in a Max prison for 6.5 years. It is a terrible place and has a life of its own. These pieces of trash will live out their sentences in P.C. I hate it for the the defendant's baby but if this verdict can potentially keep the child from adopting his father's pernicious ways, it's a good thing. Pray for the wife of the despicable senior McMichael. Maybe she will find peace and publicly apologize to the mother of Ahmad on behalf of her son. She is now without a son for the rest of her life. It is a terrible tragedy across the board.

During the trial, the defense relied on the tactic of trying to appeal to racist sentiments they believed at least one juror might have harbored, especially the "blonde" lawyer, talking about "long, dirty toenails", and they attempted, as usual in cases like this, to blame the victim for the crimes of the defendants. They were looking for a "Paul Manafort juror", at least one who would vote to acquit no matter how ironclad the evidence was against the defendants. They also tried to justify the acts of the criminals by condoning racist profiling, as if it is OK for whites to automatically assume that a Black man can be murdered on white suspicion alone, without due process. The defense exemplified support for racism in America. That was not justice. It would be good if the Bar associations would issue a conduct rule to forbid such tactics, and any lawyers attempting such in the future, be barred from practicing law. Now it remains to be seen if the judge pulls a "Vincent Chin", and gives the lightest sentences possible in the areas where he has discretion.

When the mcmichael lawyer told the jury about ahmaud dirty toes wich it has nothing to do with anything, that's when the lawyer knew this case was going to the guilty side.

I live here in Ga. I'm white. I am super PROUD of the jury's who found these 3 murders guilty. I was so ashamed of Ga at 1st for not going after these men. I'm glad that my peers felt the same way as I did and put their butts behind bars for life's they took a life now they got to pay. The judge was amazing. He handled this case the correct way and made sure that the defense teams have no grounds for appeal. Lock them up an throw the key away. That man did not deserve to die. I'm sick of seeing these men get killed everyday and nothing being done. I hope other states follow suit and start locking the true murderers up. If it was 3 black men that killed 1 white guy they would have been arrested that same day. It's sick. When I was 12 I lived in southern ga an there was rail roads that kept blacks on one side an whites on the other I am 36. Ga is just now coming to terms with treating blacks like they are human. Ioved up to northern ga an it was so different. I was glad to see Because I never understood why we had to be separated. Thankfully my aunt an uncle an parents taught me from a baby to love an respect everyone. Look at the person not the color of their skin. The color of their skin will teach me about history if I was to listen. I didn't understand that till I was older.

Y'all are so welcome but y'all don't got to thank me. The truth is the truth. I don't care what color you are if your wrong your wrong. Noone deserves to be killed like he did and noone deserves to walk like they did. It makes me sick to see how my race treats others. I can't do much in this big ol world but I am trying to do what I can with the 2 little humans I am raising. If your black brown tan red yellow purple green your welcome in my home. I always say come have a glass of sweet tea and I will throw some pintos on an we will have those for dinner. Lol What I mean by that is your welcome here at any time. I don't care about what color you are or what gender you are who you love. I look at you as a whole person not by your skin tone. Noone has to thank me for being a human. An treating everyone as humans. That's what we are suppose to do. I hope y'all have a great ol day. It's a little cold outside. So stay warm.

Watching this video never gets old. Listening to the judge poll the jury (requested by the defense), hearing each of the guilty verdicts for each of the killers, brought a sense of relief in my heart for Americkkka. A mostly all white, jury of their got the verdict absolutely right. Praise the Lord for the mind and hearts of jurors.🙏🏾🙏🏾 Condolences to the Family😢. Ahmaud, may your soul Rest In Peace , Justice has been served. You remain forever, in the minds of the killers, that took your life so violently.❤️🌹🙏🏾✝️

This entire case is so shocking to me. Even if they really believed that he had done something wrong WHY WHY WHY would they think an instant death penalty was justified??????????? I am very proud that we were able to have a jury and a judge that saw this evil for what it was.

So now that its over why don't they start going after (or criminally investigating/charging) the local police who deliberately refused to do anything about that until the state picked up the case because it was all over the news? although I think the prosecutor did get in trouble for her role in telling the cop to not press charges on the 3 men at first

There are actual professional standards and rules for attorneys, which includes high ranking prosecutors. For police officers, not so much: they can get fired, but a corrupt union can easily get them reinstated or hired elsewhere, and they effectively can never lose their pension. Reform is desperately needed there.

Its a miracle that justice was served. Between the original officer on the scene, the original DA, the racist attorneys (Hogue and Gouge). It seems Georgia has serious racism issues. I pity the minorities who live there.
