Two of the best singers of the century together. Italian tenor Luciano Pavaroti and Argentinean singer 'Mercedes Sosa' interpret the song Core 'ngrato (Ungrateful Heart), also known by the first words Catarì, Catarì (Catari is a girl's forename), is a 1911 Neapolitan song by emigrant American composer Salvatore Cardillo with lyrics by Riccardo Cordiferro (real name Alessandro Sisca).

Pavarotti delivers his usual mezzo forte and doesn't interact with or respond to Mercedes. Such a shame: it could have been wonderful. It is still nice, but might have been better. I saw Pavarotti at Covent Garden in about 1980 or 81 in Ballo in Maschera and he basically floated through at mezzo forte apart from one short phrase. Nice voice, couldn't be bothered to use it if it was a hassle (was my analysis - shoot me down: I'm wrong about lots of things).
