Will there be yeast in the beer while bottling for the 5g sugar to ferment?
@learndesignwithdev5 ай бұрын
Yes. Adding sugar is to remove that yeast and also give good carbonation when opening the bottle. Also it increases alcohol level a bit. 😊

Interesting simple process! One question: Did you measure the temperature of the grain/hot water mixture in the plastic container? I would have expected the hot-water temperature to drop significantly below the initial 78 C, and I am surprised that got the needed starch-to-sugar conversion.

Hey Andrea, a quick question. This beer you made is all natural and without preservatives. So, what'll be the shelf life of such beers after adding that 5g of sugar. 😊
@fabbricaitalianaautomobili58595 ай бұрын
The shelf life can be as long as a year if your equipment is sterilized, The more alcohol it contains the better the shelf life, alcohol is a preservative on its own 😊

Not a critique! Over the last couple of months, more and more discussions revolve around how micro plastics have made their way into our food even our bodies. Lets do our best to go back to the traditional ways and bring back more glass containers and products that we use daily that are free from as much plastic as possible. I have guarded my glass demijohns in their wicker baskets with the spigot impeded in cork.

Something's not right with gravity measurement. OG 1.030 and FG 0.994? If its
@TheWolfyDaddy5 ай бұрын
FG < 1 certainly is possible, since it is for a mixture of water and alcohol, and alcohol is less dense than water.
@krisahacker5 ай бұрын
@@TheWolfyDaddy Of course, but during process of distilation or orther type of alcohol separation, not in naturally fermented drinks. Beer yeast cannot attenuate more than 100%, that’s not possible.

@krisahacker5 ай бұрын
@@TheWolfyDaddy Do ant experiment and prove me wrong then :) Diastaticus yeast strains (for example saison yeasts) have attenuation close to 90% and more, but still it’s impossible to get more than 100% sugar conversion to alcohol.
@TheWolfyDaddy5 ай бұрын
@@krisahacker I do not have to do any experiments since these are well-stablished facts, and I encourage you to educate yourself by studying the literature. You are correct that it is impossible to get more than 100% sugar conversion to alcohol. Where you go wrong is in the implication of that fact for final gravity (FG). 100% sugar conversion does not mean a FG = 1 (as you seem to assert), but it would imply a FG < 1 because of the alcohol created.

Please, if you want to brew beer, just watch a homebrewer´s video. This is a brewers nightmare. I´m very sorry. I can´t recommend this. 8h mash? No calculations for the hop additions, no disinfection? No temperature control in the fermentation. And there is absolutely no possibility that you could get 4 or 5 % of alcohol out of 1030. Brewing is not whine making. Please, please, please....read or watch something about the brewing process before you upload a video about it.

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato I doubt that, they all came forth with the same message of Oneness of God, the same message islam and Quran confirmed, so alcohol is still forbidden because of the intoxication and addiction it causes. @neematm82665 ай бұрын
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato if you think about it, the Prophets' work was demanding, they had the burden of delivering the message to people, and instructing and helping people and at times pass judgments between people, add to that their home life, in the case of Suleiman and Dawood (Solomon and David) peace be upon them, they had a kingdom to run, Musa (Moses) had people to save from pharaoh and he already had a quick temper (only got angry about righteous things though) and strength, drinking would have worsened his temper, add to that their spiritual obligations, it's all work that demands a clear head, so I don't, in my opinion and Allah knows best, think they would have drunk.
