I first heard it @ work over "the elevator music" speakers there in my employers building in the mid 70's & I realy love the song. Reminds me of my family & the joys of Christmas @ that time. Bravo Perry! Bob The Builder👷

Perry was on three nights a week {Monday, Wednesday and Friday} for Liggett & Myers' Chesterfield on CBS from 1950 through '55 (right after "DOUGLAS EDWARDS WITH THE NEWS"). For these Christmas broadcasts, Perry insisted on "no commercials during the show". The Fontane Sisters (Marge, Bea and Geri) also appear.

Mr C. Mr Swell Guy!! He was truly a national treasure and unlike today's stars nobody, ever, had a bad word to say about him. He was a devoted family man and stayed away from the Hollywood crowd. He liked to go home every night.

this is magic..Perry Como, Italian and such a beautiful voice. He entertained my grandmother and my mother and all my men family over the years and he continues to make me feel good. Good that there is still clean entertainment, free of ridicule and politics and sneering and laughing down the sleeve. The 50's and 60's were filled with stars who were larger than life. Now, Gaga, Bieber and Britney. Egos and cliches and poor entertainment, that's what we get these days.
