Cupcake Piping Techniques - What Piping Nozzles / Piping Tips to use to pipe a box of cupcakes

Hi Everyone, There is nothing better than a box of beautifully piped cupcakes. Often one of the hardest things when it comes to piping cupcakes is knowing what piping nozzles / tips to use and what effect they will create.
This week I'm piping 6 different cupcakes, using a whole range of different piping nozzles, to make it easier for you to choose your favourites the next time you want to pipe some cupcakes.

I agree! The bordered cupcake is my favorite! Thanks for using some of the unusual tips that don’t get mentioned anywhere else like the 105! I’ve always wondered what that one would look like.

You are so welcome. I think a lot of the smaller tips are always the ones that don't get used as much as it's hard to know what they will look like. I always love to use the 105 when I can as it gives such an unusual effect, different from any of the others.

I love, love, love what you did with those cupcakes. It's the best I have ever seen and I have viewed many. I am going to make your vanilla cake recipe and your vanilla buttercream recipe. I just hope that I get the same consistency because in the past the piping has gone flat and I don't know why. Very beautiful color and decorations. I haven't see the princess bride sprinkles but now I will be looking for them. I am making a couple of batches for my husband's work colleagues and this time they requested cupcakes for Valentine's Day!

I’m making cupcakes for a wedding shower, for my son’s fiancé. I’ve been wanting to learn cake decorating for years now so…here I go! Poor girl, she gets to be my Guinea pig. 😮 Actually, it’s just these beautiful, fancy techniques that I have to work on. I have some extra cream cheese frosting left over, I’ll whip up some cup cakes and give it a go today! I’ll make “copcakes” at the groom’s dinner since my son is a deputy. Hmmmm…this is gonna be fun! Hi Lynz, can you share with us what brand of food coloring you use. I am just starting out and I am not sure what brand to choose. I do not want a bad tasting food coloring or one that stains. TYIA loving all your videos.
