Hello, couch member here! Wanted to give some background on the commentary for the run: Because of just how difficult this run is, where a single hit of damage is a retry, and there's a lot to explain about the category, TMR needed to really focus on the run and wasn't going to be able to explain all the things he wanted explained. I think we all universally love TMR's commentary on games, but it just wasn't in the cards for this category sadly. Luckily, we had a commentary all-star willing to learn the run on short notice and take the lead for us, so I could just add any small tidbits while he could do all the heavy lifting. Blechy learned the whole run the day before while juggling other commentaries and interviews, it was really impressive, and he did exactly what we wanted really professionally and the run was so much better for it. I've been watching him on couches for years, so it was really surreal. If you're a person out there who likes a more laid back run where TMR is able to discuss the run as he plays, you are in luck! At SGDQ 2018 he did a regular difficulty run, which was much more relaxed because he was just steamrolling every boss and it was a lot of fun, you should check it out. It's also a great contrast with this run, so you can see just how much extra skill was involved with getting all the S&P ranks. Thanks! PS - If you've already seen the run, try just watching TMR's hands. I think there's smoke comin' out of that controller!

I was hoping to see some blechy love in the comments! that man put in a lot of good, well communicated explanations of more than a few runs, and he gets into the run at hand too! I really appreciate that kind of dedication. As another similar example, he put in commentary for PJdicesare's Actraiser 2 hard mode run, which was another run defined by a high difficulty. certainly an invaluable asset to any couch!
