Jesus you are a REALLY good cuphead player! How's that even possible the game literally just came out a few days ago lol. You seem to have each move and each strategy figured out and mastered it looks like.

I have a slight tip/cheat I was thinking of myself. One person actually provided a VERY helpful tip for controller users, basically move the shooting button to the RT or R2 button, this way you don't have to let go of shoot and don't scramble your fingers over each other while jumping and such. I have my own 'cheat' tip which is basically to macro the shooting button to be pressed down permanently. You have unlimited ammo anyways and you will be holding it down as is as well, the only thing that you need to actually focus on in game is then the patterns of the bosses, the movements and even timed switches of the shooting methods.

Using x as shoot is a staple when it comes to older run and gun retro games such as contra or mega man. It makes sense that way, however it is just personal preference so do whatever is comfortable. I recommend changing dash right trigger and changing switch weapon the left trigger.

I *love* how you care for us gamers who want to to become what I like to call *souls gamers*. Gamers who are can play difficult games. I love how you encourage and lookout for all us newbies and I love how at the end of this video, you made it not just about the game, but about the mentality of the gamer. “It makes you a better gamer” Such truth. Another tip: change your shoot button from X to RT if you're playing with an Xbox controller. It will make dashing while you're shooting much less akward

I’m a little late to comment, but yes, u definitely should. I play on pc using a ps4 controller and agree that changing your dash button to R2 WILL make u a better player. I also recommend buying the smoke bomb charm as soon as you can as it is extremely helpful

Actually it’s way easier to just put your dash on the right number or R1 if you’re on PS4. Keep your firing button exactly where it is and you’ll get used to dashing with the bumper in no time, plus it’s way more reflexive in the end.

Such a fun, but frustrating game. I would also add: 1. Play the simple mode first so you have a feel for the boss 2. Mix up your weaponry and strategy 3. Play every day to keep your skills up, but set a time limit so you don't overexert yourself

How to make a ton of damage to bosses. Step 1. Get lobber and roundabout (8 coins) Step 2. Aim on the boss, hold the fire button and switch you're weapons 24/7 Step 3. Congrats, you killed a boss in less then 30 sec... No but seriously, you will do a ton of damage because when you switch your weapons really fast, you will shoot both weapons.

3:44 tip number 6 wasn't always true, sometimes(and most of the times for the plane levels) focusing on your character and the projectiles helps, this is focusing on surviving as you dont have to worry on the health of the enemy if you're always hitting them. Well, unless the enemy has specific hit-boxes like Cala maria or Dr Kahl 1st phase

played cuphead for the first time on ps4 a few weeks ago, was able to beat it on expert mode about 8 days later with a lot of practice. I love this game, I only wish it was longer.

Globber and Roundabout together is very powerful. If you hold down the "fire" button and keep switch weapons you will deal a lot of damage. You sometimes kill bosses before their final phase as well. Make sure to use your ex for the weapons as soon as you get them.

I feel like some of the tips can be harmful. To start it is always good to have a balance of offense AND defense. Weather that means dashing out of the way or shrinking in a plane. Coffee is probably the worst charm because it barely adds to your super meter. Smoke bomb is 100% the better option. Charge shot is OP against most bosses and destroyed health bars.

I recommend using the boomerang, and spread shot. With the boomerang shot, you can do huge damage, it can be used like the pea-shooter, but it has shorther range, but if you face backwards, you can hit the boss no matter the range. And the spread shot is used so you can get even more damage in when you’re up close to the boss.

If you don’t like using peashooter try using crackshot or chaser they are good chaser targets the enemy no matter where you look crackshot does a lot of damage even when your far

I personally prefer the roundabout over the peashooter because it has a higher spa and in some situations makes aiming infinitely easier.

The only shot I truly even use for my personal play is the Power Shot which can make most boss fights feel like a breeze with well timed shots. However, for beginners, the peashooter and spread shot are easily accessible from the beginning of the game and deal consistent damage. No gimmicks or tricks required to make them effective, and they can handle either single enemies, or large groups of mobs/projectiles with great ease.

@@blaueryoshi3729 you need to unlock new types of shots and charms with coins. There are 5 coins in each run'n'gun level (good luck with them, because to me personally they were more stressful than any S rank in the game) + 1 hidden coin in each map. + certain coins you get from NPCs in some maps. Technically you don't need to unlock them... But on practice it can be way too hard to beat certain bosses without different shots. Wish you good luck. Rrtkddigimon0

It's definitely one of the hit games of 2017. I'm stuck on King Dice. I keep rolling a 1 so I end up having to fight more sub-bosses before I get to king Dice. By the time I get to King Dice, I only have 1HP.

Tip: on the Xbox controller I reassigned dash to left bumper. That way I can always dash whether I'm in mid-air or whatever else I'm doing. Then I put change weapon to left trigger.

My main load out is : Normal : Roundabout Streadshot/Chaser Super 1 Smoke Bomb Plane : No need for any changes, but I switch my charm to the coffee because the rest don’t really matter.
