Hey fam! Deciding to mix in videos I filmed in Asia with videos I'm filming in New York. Thanks for being patient and supportive as I figure out this transition 🙏🏻 P.S. If you saw the little Tokyo flashback there, I filmed a vending machine crawl that failed cause I couldn't find enough machines. But it was one big hilarious fail - would you still want to watch it for laughs? It's incomplete but let me know 😂

I would want to see the the vending machine crawl. I also would watch bloopers, bad puns, clumsy intros, and general fails, just saying 😉

I also prefer the Asian stuff because often you can also talk directly to the locals there witch alot of travel channels don't do.. the Us content is good too but it feels less interesting to me as a westerner

Hi TJ! Thanks for another great video! Whenever you go into a convenience store like this, I miss Asia so much. You'd think I'd miss it because of the restaurants where you record all those videos -- I ate in those too (and I drool at all your food videos), but the 7-Elevens and Family Marts provided much of my day-to-day fare. The second (?) dish you ate had some sort of yummy filling wrapped in leaves, and I can't help but wondering if, in the evolution of recipes and the spread of food memes in the days of wooden ships, this dish shares some ancestry with the tamal (tamales, plural) of Latin America. Or maybe, just maybe, humans have been wrapping stuff in leaves since we learned to cook? You're a knowledgeable well-traveled foodie, so I though you might have some thoughts on this. And, yes, I must agree with Mai Mukbang -- that dress is so cute, TJ! Best, -mason.

Idk if these places are any where else, if you find yourself in Texas try a restaurant called Rudy's. It's BBQ and they haven't gone down in quality like some others in the area. There's also a sushi place called Tamara in Cedar Park. I hear there's a place in Dallas that offers Fugu, but I know there's many place closer to NY that do as well.
