Haha I’m lucky they don’t have this restaurant in the UK, I would end up eating way too much! This is a million times better than McDonalds because there is a great mix of traditional foods and the usual classics so everyone wins. I’m not surprised they have lines out the door.

I'm Taiwanese and I've only tried Dandan once while I was on a trip in southern Taiwan. I loved it! I don't know why they never opened in the northern parts of Taiwan, or I would go there instead of McDonald's for real

11:05 Um no, that's "Red Tea Milk Tea", Hóng(红) means Red, so obviously its not "Tea with Milk Tea" that would just be a waste of time and makes no sense what so ever. Its likes saying "Coffee with Latte".

Maybe that last soup would be the thing I'm least likely to try here, but otherwise? Throw it at me! It all looks good. That chicken sandwich is unreal! We'd never get something like that in the US because cheap generally means nasty low rent garbage, like at American 7-11s. You're wonderful, Miss TJ!

The congee is cheap to make, it is a common breakfast at my house served with preserved duck eggs, pork floss, minced cilantro, and chopped Chinese mixed ginger pickles. I usually make chicken, but at a little mom and pop place here they make it with salt pork and I do that at times as well.

I'm not a fan of Mickey D's, but I'd definitely try the fried sticky rice roll. It's like a deluxe version of lemper (Indonesian sticky rice roll) and I love me some of that. Also, I don't mind a chicken burger with an actual piece of chicken that doesn't seem as processed.
