I didn't even _think_ about the possibility that post-Gen 6 Pokemon could be getting Megas. I'd almost discount it if it weren't for the fact that Legends Arceus went out of its way to not only include post-Gen 4 Pokemon but give some of them regional variants to boot. If there's any Gen that has been utterly STARVED for a continuation for the longest time it hasn't been Johto, it hasn't been Unova, it's been Kalos. And now it appears Game Freak agrees. This is EXACTLY what Gen 6 needs! It not coming out this year is also such a blessing! They might actually be cooking again! I await further updates with great anticipation!

I'm so happy that Pokemon Legends Z(A) is being made. Pokemon X was the first official and non emulated Pokemon game I played and it helped me get into pokemon. X was one of my favorite games as a child and now that where getting a Pokemon Legeds Z(A) I cant help but feel like my childhood is coming back to me.

Generation 7 has mega evolutions but they didn't arrive til Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and ended in Let's Go, Pikachu and Eevee. Pokemon GO brought Megas back in 2021. But I think, they haven't revealed everything. I think Legends Z-A is set in thr late 1800s during thr Industrial Revolution

The trailer mentions this being a redevelopment of Lumiose City. I'm thinking this is the city being redesigned around the planned construction of the Lumiose Tower, so set around the time the real-world Eifel Tower was created in the late 1800s, which is around the same time period as Arceus, just in a much more urbanized area.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Gen 6/Kalos, it's about the time when I dipped from Pokemon for a bit, but I will say giving it second life on the Switch with a Legends game is a great way to change that--BUT I'm actually really hype for this game! This will probably be the game that makes me change my mind on Kalos. I'm especially intrigued by the thought of building a massive city like Lumiose from the ground up and that kinda city-building gameplay is my jam! Mix that with Legends and I'm all here for it. Considering just how massive (comparatively, for the time) Lumiose was on the 3DS, and how big the Terrarium, or even Paldaea was recently, I'm really excited to see how big they can go with it on the Switch,

Hi, I was actually thinking we were do a third game for X and Y, because it never happened. (X is one of my favorite Pokemon games.) But I wanted some type of Unova remake as it's the only one that I have not played so I hoped so hard for that. (I'm old enough to be too too old for Pokemon when it came out and never kept up until 2016.) Now my prediction is that we'll have one Jhoto starter, One Unova starter and on Kalos starter.

Honestly it makes so much sense to have Kalos be the next region they do in the Legends style since with the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Paris Games they have the best tool for marketing on an international level. I'm looking forward to this game. It has alot of potential and tge over map is huge. I saw some comments about ppl complaining about it taking place solely in the city and honestly that's not a big deal since alot of major France city have huge undercorft, sewer systems, and a under city. So even if the game takes place solely in the city it can potentially have many lower layers building up the foundation to the city with countless habitats for pokemon. With the theme urban redevelopment it sounds like we are going to be trust a new role different from the main stream role of collecting and training pokemon across the land filling up pokedex and challenging a pokemon league. It seems to me we are just going to be an every day person living in the city and our job is helping with the reconstruction of the city and its under layers and in the process capture, train, pokemon to aid in protecting job sites and or drive away an evil team or organization bent on stopping the redevelopment of the city that favors co-existence with ppl and pokemon. I really love the legends game because its so rich in characters, story, lore, music, and its a break from being in the traditional role of pokemon trainer and being able to see how everyday life is for ppl who are not pokemon trainers traveling across the region to take on a pokemon league. Its a nice break from being a pokemon trainer to do something else in the world of pokemon besides going from region to region challenging pokemon leagues.
