Excellent video with REAL testing and so informative thank you. I am collecting my Cupra Born this week, hopefully. Just to add I visited Belgium in 2019 with my family and the country is so welcoming and so beautiful. My relation's name is listed on the Menin Gate and it was so nice to watch the ceremony held each evening, thank you Ieper (Ypres) it means so much to our family.

Very nice review! I am getting mine tomorrow - the launch edition. The weather in Spain seems a bit better for EV's, my only concern is availability of charging station... Really looking forward to driving it!

Nice Car shame about the Range! 170 miles to max of 220 miles is not good enough... Did this car have Heat Pump? I am guessing No! Kia E soul better range & i am hoping Renault Megan E tech 60kWh should perform better if as i think it has heat pump & liquid Battery Heating minimum 250 miles in winter & 300 + in summer... I wonder if new Kia Niro EV can achieve 287 miles (only increase of 5 miles compared to previous model...! I will keep my Kia E Soul

also ich schaffe es nur stadtverkehr ohne autobahn knappe 520km. sobald man aber sich auf der Autobahn bewegt, geht die maxreichweite drastisch runter.

Was an HVAC off during charging? I think VW group EVs leave HVAC on by default and it negatively affects charging speed. Seems that software and/or hardware is not optimizing charging as interior temperature has higher priority. Well at least that is my understanding from what I've seen in some other videos/reviews.

Seems to have v poor rate of charging. 30 mins to go from 8% to 68% is 36kwh so equal to 72kwh in an hour. The car is said to have max 120. This car doesn't charge properly in my experience

Born can charge with 120kW.

I double checked it with Cupra Belgium when i was making the video and they confirmed it was 100 kW. In the inititial press release of the launch it says 120 kw, but it is in fact 100 kw for the 58 kWh Born
