Beautifull car. Can"t believe it's part of VAG group.

V2G, W2H or even V2L ? Does this car support B-Directional charging?

This car was on my list since we can go lease starting november. I currently drive a 275 hp mini countryman so i want at least something that makes me smile at least as much that driving it. Now i know this will not do it. I can skip all the VAG onces it seems. Only thing left is the Volvo EX40 performance i guess. Tnx for the great review, helped a lot!

Born VZ? Volvo EX40 isn't going to make you smile like the countryman even with 408hp, I've been there with a C40 Twin 408hp myself. I have the Born VZ on order after borrowing one for 5 days and loving it. It's the first electric car that has reminded me of nice handling fun hatches from the past. If you haven't tried one and it could work size-wise, I'd suggest having a go.

@@CampervanTimesize is the issue here. When i bought the mini, kids were 12 and 6, now 18 and 12. So we need to step up size. I know i have to give up the cornering of the mini but i do not want a car that's slower to 100 😂. Cars we can choose must be max €60.000 (without taxes) and frim these brands: Audi Bmw Mercedes VW Cupra Skoda Volvo. For now it seems only the Volvo is the best choice, only thing is, the interior is a bit to minimalistic imo.

Air vents are not meant to be hidden away. They are supost to be directional to cover all the way from the H point and up to I think was the eye point on the 95% manikin. If they are recessed they wont give the propper cover.

Drop down on the wheel rim size (not RR) always gives about 10% more range and better comfort.

Agree, I would never ever never have Haptics on any electronics. I'm in the market to buy an EV in 2025 and if the Haptics cant be permenently turned off I'm just not interrested. Makes the Xpeng G6 look more appealing.

What im going to miss the most coming from a Polestar 2, is the OPD. Always wondered why european brands are so reluctant to put it into their cars. For me its probably the best thing about driving an EV. Never use the brakepedal makes for such an easy and comfortable drive.

I drove a Skoda Enyaq iV 80 for some 1500km on a holiday trip, and it definitely had OPD.
@Colt16v

@@valkoharja It doesn´t have OPD. Its got "B" function which increases recuperation, but it does not go down to a complete halt like Tesla, Volvo and Polestar does.

What I can say if it helps is I've just gone from 4 years in a model 3 to an id.7, and I thought I would really miss total OPD, and actually 500 miles in it's not really bothered me - so maybe VW did a load of market research and realised it doesn't change the driving experience that much.
@Colt16v

@@jamesraisonx Its just that, it doesnt cost anything to add it, and would make them stand out to other brands. But you might be right. Polestar 2 had rather crappy ACC when driving in slow traffic, but its very good OPD made up for it.

I cant get over the choice from Cupra on the blue interior color, makes me not click the "Buy Now" button....

Too much blue? What do you think of the copper accents?

Yes, where is the black microfibreseats from the earlier customization? Very poor choice from Cupra. The only version I could maybe do is the Extreme. The copper is one of the things I love about Cupra.

11kW charging is a platform issue. MEB is one of the oldest BEV achitectures. There’s no 22kW option in any MEB cars.

Dear Cupra, a rear wiper is not just for clearing the back screen. It's also for cleaning it. Aerodynamics will not do that. Yours sincerely.
