Got the DOA yesterday! I'm an aging rider who got into freestyle last year on a 20+ year old Burton... So I'm excited to see what a modern freestyle focused board feels like!

Worked great on about 6"-8" of average snow starts to struggle a bit past 8". kzbin.infoUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Very light weight and the chute spin control works well. For the low price you get a ton of value. My only complaint is managing the cord as it does take a fair bit of effort to watch and pull the cord out of the way. I found myself having to whip the cord out of the way a lot when I needed to make one way passes to mange the blow direction. It's less of an issue when you can work both directions. A battery powered version would be a lot easier to handle but that is also double the price and requires battery care. I chose the corded version so I didn't have to worry about batteries but I do now see how much work the cord is. I let my neighbor borrow it and it outperformed his smaller gas blower, he was totally sold. Very pleased with the power and operations. My only suggestion is to spend a bit more on a cordless version if you have budget for it. The cord is a bit more of a headache than I thought it would be. Very pleased with the Snow Joe brand and quality.

Even though both vote DOA is a better freestyle board, but in the video both reviewer seem to perform better on the Jones. The ollie seem to have more pop. The spins seems to be more fluid. The side hits seem to get more air than the DOA… even the ground trick seem less chunky and catchy than the DOA. Tbh I enjoy watching you guys on the Tweaker more than the DOA.

I’d say that’s because their freeride maneuvers were simpler than their freestyle ones and the terrain they were riding making it look that way

I'd say it's just that the tweaker is softer and more suited to these guys abilities.

I take that back. I rode a DOA in 2019 and just found out that they softened it up heaps with the 2023 version. The super DOA has the stiffness of the older versions apparently.

I feel like it would make more sense to compare the evil twin with the d.o.a.

Hey, nice video! I used a never summer hybrid board (PROTO HD) for 7 years and im hitting S-M jumps and 50-50 on rails. Outside the park i really like to go fast do a little carving (not so aggressive) but mostly side hits and popping in the transactions. Buying a new board is a huge "event" for me so, what board you think it suits me the most? Is the Super DOA too much for me?

Nice video! Could you make some content about the comparison between D.O.A and Salomon HUCK KNIFE?

I’d like to see a comparison of burton custom v. Capita DOA or super DOA. I know they aren’t the same style, but they are the best selling boards for their respective brand….Plus I own a custom now but the super doa might be the move

Hey Christopher! I think the Super D.O.A would be a high-performance deck for upper intermediate to advanced all-mountain/freestyle riders. You might need a wide size if your boot is bigger than 11. Hmu if you want to land a great deal on this one or any other board 🤙 Alex, snowboard expert www.curated.com/experts/alex.weber

Jones tweaker is about a 4. It’s way softer than what they claim
