Around 30 years ago I paid $300 for a cashmere sweater at an airport in Scotland, back when Scotland had a direct line to Mongolia for cashmere wool. The cuffs are still as elastic around the wrist today as they were when I bought it. A few years ago, after China had taken over the market for Mongolian cashmere, first importing it to China then adulterating it with Chinese wool, I bought a cashmere sweater "Made in China" at Sam's Club for $30. The wrist cuffs were "loosey goosey" and drooped after just a couple of months, and I ended up donating it to a charity shop.

This my favorite Curb scene of all time. He falls in a toilet and then is hobbling around the golf course with a cane. And then while next to the green he waves the cane around like he is The Music Man. Then they talk about God and the jet stream and then immediately pivots to his shirts sleeve not being clingy anymore.
