"Mondegreen" is the term for mishearing lyrics or words. Like the song "Secret Agent Man" was heard by some as "Secret Asian Man" and the lyric from CC&R's "Bad Moon Rising" rather than the lyrics "There's a bad moon on the rise" some heard, "There's a bathroom on the right" or "There's a baboon on the right." 😄
