@JabberCT9 жыл бұрын
Anewkindofstore They need other suspects, dumbass.
@nevskixx9 жыл бұрын
+JabberCT They don't need other "suspects" for a line up. They need ordinary citizens to line up with the suspect. If the suspect is male, they'll choose men in the line up. If white caucasian then usually white . If short, then the line up will comprise of shorter people etc. If the suspect in the line up is identified they hold him/her and the witness is called to give evidence.If another person in the line up is identified , the witness is usually deemed unreliable, and if there are no other witnesses the suspect is usually released. Why this is so funny is that we the viewer already know LD to be the culprit of an absurd offence yet all the witness can recall is that the culprit was bald and is colour blind at the same time. It's even funnier to watch the black cop's reaction, because he too is bald. The cop being black is another bit of working on prejudice. The common scene is usually a white cop pulling over a black citizen who has done nothing wrong and the prejudice goes to work. Here LD makes himself the hapless victim of an absurd crime. The prejudice LD works on is bald prejudice. He also absurdly presents as someone politically correct about "handicap". On a deeper level he is making a mockery of those who are prejudiced and its irrationality using a mock spaghetti western soundtrack, but also stating a serious point of how racism generally can also lead to absurd as well as tragic outcomes in real life. That's why I love this clip for its cleverness as well.
