Man, the fact that you give us all this info for free is insane! I’ve seen courses being sold for 500 usd with no guarantee that this will go away! I’m only starting my journey but I can tell that in about 2 months my symptoms are like 7 times milder when I started spending more quality time with my family, admitting to myself that im not ill, fighting anxiety and now doing stretches! This is hell on earth but I wish everyone who is on the same journey to be patient and consistent with all the things mentioned in this video, I do believe I’ll recover one day as we plan to have children and it’s high time, massive hugs and much love to everyone who’s feeling down, we can beat the ish out of this, trust your body

@@hogies1282 hello there brother! Luckily I felt this terrible urge only at the very beginning of this, it gets worse when on a plane but I guess it was more anxiety based, it took me 2-3 weeks as well to start feeling much better when I started battling my fears: sex, boxing mostly, I dreaded even trying again my main residual pain is penile pain which is getting better very very slowly, I’d say 5 percent per week if I stretch and have therapy sessions, btw do talk to a therapist (psychologist whoever), I thought I didn’t need one but in fact I felt relief each time I did and please go out and enjoy life! These things have been helping massively and yes im far from being good as I once was but you gotta get out of this anxiety cycle, once you break it and start loving yourself you should start to see improvement, this is partially psychological (I’d say 70 percent), so please don’t refrain from being the cheerful life loving dude you once were, if you ever need to talk- im always there for you, I had no one who could understand even the freaking doctors who thought I was a psycho so I know what it feels like, hugs to you brother, we got this

Well I hope you can monetize this idea. A book would be great. Many would benefit from that. There’s a surprising amount of men going through this ordeal with a lot of conflicting information out there. I greatly appreciate the content of your website and especially how you broke it down into steps. I suffered for 7 years, had relief for 4, and had the symptoms return again recently. At first I felt depressed, hopeless and extremely isolated as if I couldn’t reach out to anyone and that no one else could possibly understand. Only to find out through my own research that not only are there others, but that there are such positive and selfless individuals out there such as yourself willing to share what knowledge you’ve obtained through your own experiences. I can’t thank you enough because I have a completely different outlook now, feeling hopeful about my situation. I’ve already felt a significant reduction in symptoms and have found gratitude in life where I may not have before. There are silver linings to these types of chronic pain, including self realization and growth. It’s also great how you inject some humour in. Thanks again. Best wishes to you and your family. Hope you find a way to cash in deservedly so, as your content will continue to help many people out of the dark. 🤘🏻

Hi. I want to inform you guys that CPPS is not caused by an infection, but an inflammation in your nerves near your prostate or somewhere in your pelvic floor. It is psychological, neurological and muscular disorder. This causes tightening and shortening of your pelvic muscles. The same as with levator ani syndrome, possibly it appears through an inflammation in arcus tendon inside your pelvic floor. Stress and anxiety, earlier infections and surgery is the root causes. The only thing that worked for me is shockwave therapy and 2 times regularly of pelvic stretches and Kegels every day. I am only 60-70% healed yet with a good progress. There is hope guys and keep up the work.

When I first got CPPS I was really afraid I had cancer. When I was out on a weekend with friends a horrific pain struck my body. I went to a hospital but the doctors didn’t know what it could be. That was the most difficult part of it: not knowing what it could be for weeks on out. Then I came across this channel and I finally had hope again. My CPPS has almost completely vanished from my life since. When I worry, it can come back in a lighter form, but thanks to you I know how to deal with it. @Moonless6491 Жыл бұрын
@luizmanso3451 Yes. I've correlated this with mind body syndrome/TMS and have been diagnosed with systemic IC and pfd as my bladder looks fine and so did MRI. Basically it's neurological and muscular caused by the nervous system. Basically the pain is created in the mind and perpetuated in the body. It's real pain, but becomes chronic. The brain can even restrict blood flow and cause tension because of emotions. It never had gone away but flares harder with stress. Look up Dr. Sarno for TMS theory. I too had this happen years ago and disappeared after a few weeks. But three years ago it started back and stayed. Both times were stress related

I never write comments, but to give you guys some good hope I'll share my progress. My symptoms started 2 weeks ago after I drastically changed my workout routine. At first, I was very panicked because my PT had just declared me 'cured' two months ago. My symptoms were peeing every 20 minutes and constant pain. I started doing the exercises but my mind stayed in a constant stressed state. To tackle this problem I picked up the book: 'How to stop worrying and start living by Dale Carnegie'. This book gave me a new perspective and really calmed me down. Now two weeks I'm 75% better. I still have pain but now it's only for about 30% of the day and it's mild. I'm writing this comment to give you some perspective. Whilst I know that this is different for everybody do stick to the 'battle plan' you will get better in time. I'd like to thank Ian for giving this unknown condition a platform and a solution. Keep faith guys you will get better!

To be honest, in my case neither coffee or cold has any affect on my symptoms. I remember I was at my worst when I was on vacation in Turkey last year when temperature was 42 'C, and I stayed there for 2 months for my shock wave therapy. This a clear sign that doctors don't now anything about this syndrome. My symptoms usually get worse when I'm stressed, like going to the doctor or when something very stressful and bad happens. Post-ejaculation, pooping and anxiety triggers my symptoms most. Therefor, this syndrome is an issue in your pelvic floor, usually this applies to levator ani muscles that are getting shortened and tight.

You are my fucking hero for starting this. Definitely just gained a follower. I’m 26 and have been dealing with this for the last couple of years and didn’t have a real diagnosis until 6 months ago. I’m still in pain and feel depression coming on more and more everyday. I believe my biggest flaw is quitting smoking marijuana. Any thoughts on this? It has to be the #1 cause of my inflammation. I do need to eat better and exercise more regularly but I feel that smoking only makes things worse. It’s my only vice but I know I need to quit. Also, now that you’ve cured your CPPS, have you had any returning symptoms or pain? Look forward to hearing back. Thanks!!

If you feel that smoking makes you feel worse, you're probably right. I haven't done enough research to know if it's chemical or psychological or both, but I know that eating a ton of sugar or now eating dairy (I believe I gave myself an allergy to whey) cause me big time problems. Trust your body's feelings. It's a highly advanced machine. I'm glad you're fighting!

I suffered for three and a half years in extreme pain and urethral burning 24/7... I had extreme dysuria... I could not sit on a chair or even lie on my back due to pelvic pain ...I was trapped in my house ... Last summer the root cause of all these was finally revealed... I had a severe case of pantaloon hernia that no doctor had diagnosed... As soon as I had the laparoscopic mesh surgery... Everything was back to normal... Don't lose hope ... 13 urologists used to tell me that I have cpps and that I will be like that for the rest of my life ... Fortunately I did not pay attention to their words and now all these are just a nightmare of the past...

Hello I have some issues. I am a 20 years old male. Like weeks ago, I was having urgency to Urinate. I Urinated like 6-13 times. I went to get tests for UTIs or Kidney Stones. Tests were negative nothing was abnormal. When I urinate I feel like there's urine left in my penis so I have to strain or push to get the rest out. Sometimes It takes 3 or 4 seconds for urine to start even though I have urges. The stream sometimes comes in a straight line and I urine a lot and sometimes I don’t urinate a lot. Sometimes a little urine leaks in small drops. It happens whens I am done Urinating.I have like discomfort in urethra and sometimes I have like twitching or fasciculations inside my urethra. Before all these symptoms showed I had constipation, but It did not worry me because sometimes It goes away after a day. But I realized it lasted a a few more days. I also get trapped gas in my anus that I have to push, I did not had to strain to pass gas before. This is scaring me. I don't have any other symptoms like blood in Urine or fever.

Hey, there, thanks for all the info and hard work. Can you tell me if working out makes CPPS worse? Nkt sure if that's what I have, but it's worse when sit down, specially when I cycle (to the point I've been avoiding it as much as I can) and on leg day, as most of the exercises involve sitting down. Also when I lift weights I contract my pelvis so resistance training gets even harder, cause I end up concentrating on the pain it causes around my pelvic area than on the intended muscles. I love working out but lately not so much, because of that, and I fear it may make my pelvic problem even worse, whatever it may be... 😢

This is a really great video. Thank you for making it. Running definitely seems to make me feel more tight. Would walking do the same thing?
@CureCPPS
@CureCPPS 5 жыл бұрын
I don't think walking would make you feel as tight as running, but if you're not warmed up and stretched out, it can make you feel tight, too. Make sure to hit the calf stretch, double calf-stretch (KZbin it - it's easy but you should hit the details right), hip stretch and some form of hamstring stretch. Also try to move through a complete stride as you walk. I used to take small steps because I was so stiff, and I hated walking because my lower back would hurt afterward. To counter this, try to push off your steps like you're speed skating, and make your strides long. Sometimes this takes a few minutes to "warm up" into. And if you can't do any of this for lack of time, your body will still thank you for moving instead of sitting. Thanks Daniel! I'll make more guides as soon as I can. I'm looking for new employment, so that sucks up a lot of my time.

Thanks for all your vids. Can I ask because I couldn't see the specific symptoms on your site, did you have a weak urinary flow and/or any dribbling after urinating? If yes did you manage to fix that too? I have a lot of symptoms of CPPS (perineum pain, testicle pain, bowel problems, back pain, intermittent frequent urination etc) I finally went to see a private Pelvic PT who did an exam and said I have pelvic floor problems but now I can't see her due to the lockdown. Because of the urinary symptoms (slightly reduced flow, post void dribbling) my dr/urologist is ignoring all the other symptoms and trying to push me to have a cystoscopy to see if I have a stricture. I'm so lost and don't know what to do, to be honest my faith in urologists is zero after dealing with this for 2+ years, so far they've been utterly useless and condescending every step of the way ("men don't get pelvic floor problems") so trusting them to do a examination with potential to cause more damage isn't a great prospect.

Thank God I didn't stop searching because he was trying to say I had phantom pain.smh! Thank you for putting a name to this pain, especially after 3 in half long & agonizing pain staking year's of suffering in silence. What actually really triggered my pain... was when my racist family doctor forced me to burn my tubes in 08' with the RCMP right there assisting her along with MCFD, that extremely racist experience & heavy trauma alone, had killed my spirit. And left me in a dark & very deep depression to where I tried committing suicide several times. Now, I have weight to finally figuring out what has been going on with this crazy ass pain. I use to walk 5 miles a day now I can't even walk around my block without being in extreme pain for the rest of the day or even week. I cannot thank your video enough. From within 🇨🇦.

Yesterday only I was diagnosed with CPPS, after a month long pain and no of prognosis of whether being varicoele, epididmytis which turned out negative on doing scans. , my work profile is also the same as you mentioned with lots of stress and anxiety. My urologist advised me not to take unnecessary stress , I used to go to gym to release my stress. It was really therapeutic for me. But now I am not sure whether I would be able to go to Gym and do my weight training. Pls guide Don't know what to do

Hi and thanks for the great work you offer to us. Im suffering from tight pelvic floor muscles for few years now, which give me all symptoms of CPPS, especially a very uncomfortable and painful feeling on perineum. Im starting deal with your stretching exercises and for the first time get over 48 hours without symptoms after almost 2 weeks for the begging of that healing journey (I hope) . Whats your opinion about EMS devices with anal probe instrument, for pain relief on this area? Is that cause muscle relaxation or is gonna occur opposite effects? Thanks for your help
