LDN is low cost and not very profitable for drug companies so it does not get promoted like profitable drugs. That is why more studies have not been done. Congratulations on your findings.

I am in Australia and have just been treated for 3 B NSCLC and lymph nodes Chemo,radiation and immunotheraphy . With my oncologists approval I kept taking LDN 4.5 mg all the way through treatment and have results of totally resolved with medication !

Annie, only thing relevant I have heard is that Cats are better off taking LDN during the day. Their Circadian Rythm is different from humans which requires Endorphin Hormomes to be produced mostly at night (1-5 AM). Whereas most cats are Nocturnal and sleep mostly during the day. Just what I have read/heard about this. But if you are getting good results...maybe does not matter.

I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer Nov 2022, and started taking LDN since August 2023 and three of my tumors have shrunk in my last 2 CAT Scans over the last 6 months. I'm taking 2.25mg 6 days per week and skipping one day per week.

I would just like to say that was brilliantly done material, very refreshing to hear people speak so intelligently about a subject that needs to be talked about a lot more, I currently have stage four metastatic adenocarcinoma non small-cell lung cancer, with a met to the brain that I've had brain surgery two and a half years ago tumor in my chest is inoperable at the moment, I've been looking into and getting started on off-label medications to complement the tki treatment that I'm on currently, I am still alive after two-and-a-half years, and in very good shape for everything I've been through and getting ready to start low dose Naltrexone, I will try to comment later, after being on the medicine for a while and having scans, thanks again for such a wonderful presentation

@@StuVideff hi, Stoian, I took a long time to answer this, but I hope this can help, I'm no longer on any tki or any standard of care for my cancer, after a very tough time with a drug called Lorbrena, and a plethora of supplements I achieved positive results, but had to stop because of the many troubling side effects that that started happening all at once, that I'm still dealing with today, mainly central nervous system damage. The only thing that I can tell you the LDN is that I took it for a while with a lot of other drugs and supplements I started experiencing confusing side effects so I stopped taking it thinking about starting it up sometime in the near future doing other things to help fight the cancer I don't have any results to give you yet other than that I'm still here and I am functioning on my own I hope this helps, I think it's worth a try good luck best regards John

I am taking LDN for extreme loss of energy, likely the result of mitochondria dysfunction after covid. I am also taking the supplements that are directly involved in TCA cycle metabolism, such as CoQ10, riboflavin, niacin, thiamine, pantothenic acid, and AKG. LDN is a miracle.

It's been around for decades. I'm prescribed the 50mg, crush it, put it with 50 mil water, and take 5mg in the morning. (Used to take it in the evening but changed it around to benefit the potential for weight loss) It gives me ten days on one pill. While the original script is expensive, over $100 off shelf use, it works out really cheap by low dosage taking. You do get vivid dreams, though.

I have been on it for many years for auto immune diseases. 1.5ml. Upped it a couple of months ago to 3. I now found I have a lump in my breast which is malignant. I had the lump for 10 months and it stayed the same and now I was told it is growing faster. I started taking D3 20,000. In her study she mentions that while kills cancer it also can speed its growth. COnfusing. I am not sure what to do now. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you EUdice

So you’re saying that those cancer patients were NOT taking opioid pain medication? I hypothesized that the early identification of the low dose naltrexones effect on cancer was technically at the ULDN/ultra low dose naltrexone level… but you mentioned 3-5 mgs. Ultra low dose naltrexone being 1 microgram. Do you have any information for how ULDN effects tumor growth? I know it changes how the naltrexone binds to the proteins -(?) There is a protein coupling switch from “G” protein to “Filiman A”? With long term opioid use. ULDN doesn’t block receptors like LDN does but somehow with this protein coupling situation it still increases endorphins & the efficacy of the opioid pain medication- AND regulates the glia cells relieving nerve pain. So can we assume the tumor regulators are also still enhanced or how might I investigate this better?

Thx for the video. I have now weak orgasms and low libido after taking 3 weeks LDN. I quit immediately but symptoms persisted since over 1,5 months now. I did not take ANYTHING else, and never ever experienced such symptoms before. My testo levels are through the roof, there is no erectile dysfunction, it's just the sexual sensations that blunted. Climax is no real pleasure (20%) and sexual desire not really there. I suspect it came from the opiate receptor blocking mechanism of LDN, which also makes sense, as the drug is used to get people off other pleasures like alcohol and shopping addiction. I was wondering what I can do to counteract these effects? Taking opiates to stimulate from the opposite side? Really concerned these symptoms stay persistent, like some sort of PSSD. Btw. another reason why I can clearly attribute these side effects to LDN, is that I am no longer tired after climax (0%), like I can come twice in 30min no problem, which seems fun, but not if you're not enjoying the act. It is known that LDN messes with prolactin, so just another piece of evidence, just don't wanna hear from anyone: it must be from other things. (I am 34 years young)

LDN lowers prolactin and it does also lower dopamine level and serotonin. Which in some people induces anhedoni and some people with hypomania/mania.

Currently taking LDN for Hashimotos and it’s great but wife is metastatic stage 4 breast cancer. Wish dosing LDN duration was better understood or if it worked as an adjuvant for immunotherapy or parp inhibitors. We could use this immediately.

I have BC and get my LDN from Care First compound pharmacy. It requires an RX. Don't wait for a study. Start it asap. Also, your wife needs a total lifestyle change. Research Chris Wark and his Square One protocol and NORI protocol (Mark Simon is the founder. Both require an all plant-based diet as foundation because it's low in methionine which is highest in animal products (fish and chicken highest fruit has little to none). Methionine is an amino acid that ALL cancer cells require to grow. It is possible to heal stage 4 BC. Dr. Loraine Day had stage 4 with a grapefruit size tumor growing out of her chest. She went plant-based and healed her heart and 30+ years later she is 84 yrs old and thriving. She was a head surgeon at Dan Franscisco Genetal during AIDS epidemic and in academia and refused conventional. Another person is Dr. Nasha Winters who was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and 30 years later, alive and well and still living with her tumors and stage 4 cancer. She manages her cancer. I don't know if anyone is familiar with the late Dr Bihari's work. He pioneered this over 2 decades ago. He explained that anything that was endorphin sensitive, including certain cancers, autoimmune conditions, Aids and so much more, benefited with LDN. It suppresses the pleasure centre of the brain for a short time at a low dose and then boosts an endorphin release. It also helps other medication work better. His main research was with the Aids community and found great success in antiviral treatment and LDN combo. I took it for 7 years after MS diagnosis. The neuro, while sceptical, said it would do no harm at such a low dose. Went to MS clinic for 5 years for regular appointments, then stopped bothering. 25 years later, I have no MS to report. The early doctors must have gotten it wrong... yeh right! Over the years, I've take it in fits and starts, whenever I feel I need a boost. The doctor is OK with prescribing it. Now, I'm doing it for inflammation and weight loss as well as a low thyroid. As you can see, apart from opioid painkilling medications, low dose of Naltrexone is worth a try.

Please elaborate as to how you think it is not safe. Thousands or more of patients with MS have taken this drug for decades without any side effects of untoward effects. As a modulator, not a cure, it is meant to be taken long term.

So there will never be any comprehensive clinical trials on this because its use would cost drug companies money. why would they pay the expense of a trial for something that is going to lose them money!

What's sick is how many people go through the harsh treatments, removal of body parts and still pass... while losing quality of life. That is what I call sick! This off-label drug does no harm and supports the immune system which all cancer patients can use. Discouraging people by ignorant fear mongering is also a little sick. This medicine has and is helping many. It's wonderful that this med student is researching this drug for multi-purpose usage. Sadly, the FDA will most likely never allow it to be used since it is so cheap. Be well.
