I love this one! The painter is magic with a brush. New electrical guy. Floors done. Walls insulated. Lights working. Paintings hung in the store. And the lady who sold you the Cadillac is beautiful! That long beautiful flowing white hair. The bright clothes. She's just everything! You meet the most interesting people. I'm in the US and don't ever meet interesting people. And this is why, they are all in Canada! I just love your adventures!

I have soooo enjoyed this video Alex...from the coffee bean high, the lovely lady with the cadillac [and you giving her a ride], the developing store and watching good craftsmen do their stuff, and you teaching your son how to use tools and the family helping out in the art gallery room...I could go on and on..it's just so good to see such things going on in this world, I wish your take on people and life could be bottled and fed into the water system so everyone was enriched by it. Two big thumbs up to Dave... it is great to see a sign guy actually using a brush. Sadly, that is now rare to see, due to the use of vinyl rather than paint these days. It looks like he is using 1 Shot Lettering Enamel. If he is, that sign work will last for many, many years. It's all starting to come to life, Alex... Alex you nailed it. The store looks amazing. You really have taken the neighbourhood up in stature. Inside is looking good. I am for sure going to visit when in the area. We love that era. When we built our new house we made it look like the old 1904 that was dry rotten and had to be remove inside and out. We always get a kick out of comments by people when they say the old house is in amazing condition. Thats because its new built to look old. Didn't think it was possible to out do the potters house but you are well on your way.

The little seaside village I grew up in, in New Zealand, had (still has) a General Store just like this, one that sold everything for the locals, mostly groceries but a bit of everything, and also had a cold store back room where the milk and frozen goods were all kept, which was bare wood and exposed beams just like you're going for.
