Michelle Daniel yes she was exactly right, I was quite amazed at her insight. Beautiful Emily’s decline did start around that time i think, so sad, & such a fighter. The strength of their love was inspirational , and just maybe if she never had got cancer they might never had met. Or am I just trying to find a Silver-lining , it was Fate they were always meant to be together....Soul mates.

@@SGM805 Yep, you're correct. Probably my fave video of Emily's was from Easter 2018 when Aisha did an Easter egg hunt for her. That was April 1 or 2. The title is, ironically, "I won't deteriorate" or something like that. Maybe a couple days later they found out she had the huge tumor at the top of her spine.

pammyla66 Pammy, I saw Aisha for just a second, she stopped in to see PeeWeeToms here on KZbin. Look him up if you’re not watching him, he’s fighting cancer also and it was just like a balm on my soul when I saw Aisha. I keep asking myself how I managed to fall in love so quickly with someone I’ve never met and the answer to that is Emily was just felt like your best friend didn’t she? Her funny , bubbly, crazy personality just draws you in and before you even realize it, you’re holding your breath until the next video. I still can’t believe she’s gone. We all need to band together and raise total hell at the drug companies for pretending not to have a cure for cancer! If you think of ALL THE MONEY that has been donated to research, you’d have to be an idiot not to have an answer by now!! I mean really, think about it! They are making more money from chemo treatments that, in most cases, only make the patient sicker! 😢. It’s time we all got really ANGRY and DEMANDED A CURE!! Look at how far they came with HIV and AIDS meds! It was killing so many ppl by sexual intercourse and they knew ppl weren’t going to stop having sex so they basically HAD tO find the right drugs to treat it! Cancer is different. You can’t catch it so they think it just helps with the natural selection and that’s BS! I didn’t mean to rant but you know what I mean. Like Em said one day, “Cancer Sucks!” Hugs Xxx❤️😢

Love how Aisha spoke of how she was going to have tunnel-vision and focus all her energy on Emily's cancer treatment and her care. These two young ladies just re-new your faith in humanity. Such passion for life, courageous determination, and over-flowing love and commitment!! I'm SO very sorry that effing Cancer won in the end. Seems Impossible that Emily's vibrant life-force could have been extinguished.

Actually, one of the best books I've read is "The Gift of Tears". I wrote a thesis on grief. Tears of pain actually contain toxins! As opposed to tears of happiness & joy, which do not!! Crying is just one natural response to pain of loss. Nobody ever stops anyone from laughing at something hilarious. We're taught crying is unacceptable, a sign of weakness, etc. Really, they're there to help us process through sadness. Tears are ok, Aisha -- MORE than ok, sweetie.

Honestly that bit at the end with you two chatting in bed was so so touching raw and real. Out of all your clogs that was the most intense for me and real. You two are so honest and real it is beautiful and also sad that you are both going through this challenging time. I'm sure it has made your relationship stronger and brought you two closer than any other couple would ever have. Aisha leaking lol, is not a waste of time it is the opposite. The fact that you are holding it all in is concerning. It is your journey as much as it is your partners. Cry together and keep talking and if you don't want to cry in front of her because your trying to appear strong then make sure you are talking to someone else to get it all out. It will actually be better for you and your health to talk to someone and then you will be stronger for her. Sorry to carry on but I know how hard it can be on both of you, get your knees checked out I'm sure it's the weights, and look forward to your next blog Xo

One side effect from Keytruda is joint pain Emily, I know a few people who have had joint pain, some so bad that they can't get out of bed. Don't stress, you'll be good! Love to both of you.

Hi guys, I agree with you over the knee situation! I also have arthritis and Crohn's and the treatment I was on (inflixamab) can cause skin cancer!!! Go figure😬. Anyhoooo every pain and niggle is a worry and Darren is more worried than I am. I find it's harder for your partner because they feel so helpless 😔. The only thing is that I have been training for 6 years and its so sudden. I think it is part of the treatment so I am going to get a scan just to clarify that it isn't any spread of the cancer xx Thanks for you comment :-)

Clair 'life could not be better' she said on instagram that she felt overwhelmed with grief and sadness recently... she hasn't moved on from Emily's death and that's normal. Just because someone looks happy on Insta doesn't mind that's the case. Just bear that in mind x
