Hi Emily, I've only just started watching you and maybe others have said what I'm going to say but I know someone who got diagnosed with terminal cancer, they couldn't treat her because the cancer was too advanced. She didn't accept that fate, she went home and did her research. She cleaned up her diet and four years later she is still alive and doing well. She started eating natural, , cooked all her own food, no additives, no chemicals, no processed food of any sort, n lots of vegetables and all the doctor said to her was 'keep doing what you are doing. I think they know the cure for cancer already but the doctors have to dole out the 'treatments' that the pharmaceutical companies give them. I know you love your food but you don't know what restaurants put in some of the food they serve, especially the big chains, n drinks in plastic cups n plastic straws, big no, get glass instead or BPA free plastic. You don't have to cut these foods out forever, you'll be able to have treats once you are well again but just give yourself every chance you can. I wish you the very best, you and Aiesha as you are a lovely couple and I'm supporting you all they way.

You ARE stronger. When I sat down with my surgeon to discuss my treatment, he had a picture on his wall of a woman climbing a mountain. She had stage 4 breast cancer. He told me all cancers are different, but that I had to go in with an I CAN attitude. He promised me nothing, yet gave me so much. Because I simply lived and loved my life through it.

I’m a cancer survivor. My cancer wasn’t as pervasive as yours, and I’m nearly at my five year marker for remission. What I want to say is that I love your attitude. A positive outlook has an affect on your body that keeps you strong. Even when it’s scary, it’s important to stay strong and determined. YOU are stronger than cancer. I understand what you're saying. My dad died of an inoperable brain tumour...but the journey made me realise you can fight for your life even if you accept that ultimately you're going to lose the fight. In a way knowing you having nothing to lose kind of frees people up to channel all their energy into the fight and if there's even a 1% chance of remission, the longer you're alive the better your chances! Winning each battle (side effects, pain, stress) may not be winning the war but no one ever won a war by not fighting the battles! Fighting means you can't lose even if the cancer wins. ♡♡♡ PS love your vlogs!

Hi Emily! I'm 22 and I was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer 3 years ago. In the process, I've undergone too many treatments / surgeries to count plus a full liver transplant. Hi ladies, tell Aisha to try stringing a thread across the opening (from one side to the other of the window frame) and hanging them over the string. You can do multiple strings to hang up as many as you need. We used to do this with Christmas cards.

Hey love, hope you are doing ok. I commented before, I am sure you get a lot of advice but I wanted to say please try a pure keto, (only fat) diet, it is the only thing that forces your body to change. No carbs, little to no protein. It forces your body in ketosis, and all individual cells have no choice but to feed on ketones, rather than glucose, or converted energy from protein. And supplements with tons of zinc and selenium. I am subscribers to hundreds of cancer patients and I done this for 10 years. And following their progress, don't believe the people who tell you to become vegan, or paleo, or not do chemo or follow modern research. The truth it cancer is something so complex that there is one cure. You right it is stabbing in the dark. Fast for a few days, get in ketosis, and mean hard ketosis, Follow a guy called SnakeDiet, forget the name watch all his videos, he know you how to get into ketosis. Then supplement tons with zinc and selenium. Eating only fat, forces your body to run of ketones, you biology is forced to change. Eating one meal a day can help tremedously. You will have to keep your weight. It might sound insane, you diet should be heavy whipping cream that pure fat + coconut oil + artificial sweetner (no calories) + water. I would recommend no carbs, or protien in your case, usually I tell people to take greens, but in your case its best your body has no source of carbs and protein. An for electrolytes, take sea salt + cream of tartar (potassium) and drink it throughout the day. Let me know if you want to know more.

If I thought she would read it, I would show this to my sister. Because she and I argue about cancer all the time. She believes you put your affairs in order and keep comfortable. I believe in rage, rage against the dying of the light. I have clinical background, and my sister distrusts science like so many people here. Emily had just the right mix of belief in positivity and belief in science. Science gave her EIGHT YEARS after a diagnosis of metastatic melanoma. Her attitude through this journey puts to bed the idea of someone "losing" a battle with cancer. To be as positive as she was, and to continue living to the fullest for whatever time is left, the say she did (and the way Dan Thomas -- peeweetoms -- is) is how you kick cancer's ass. Because what cancer doesn't realize is that when it takes over, it's killing itself. As I watch these videos, some for the first time, some because for some reason I NEED to pretend that she is still here, I'm ever more aware of just what a force of nature what she was, how special she was, how TALENTED a videographer she was. We've been privileged to be able to be able to have her in our lives, even if just virtually.

On this day in 3 months darling Emily passed away and now looking back on this vlog it doesn't seem possible. She wasn't in denial, she was very aware that the brain tumours were very serious, but I love it that she was so positive and just wanted to live her best life every day.
