I would love to see you revisit this brand in one of your shop the stash videos. What other products from Curl Junkie do you want to try?

I plan on it! It might even be featured in one of my favorite combos videos too. I want to try pattern pusha, curl queen smoothing gel, repair me hair treatment, and the gentle cleansing shampoo. Most of these have protein in them which my hair loves. Thank you for watching!

I was low key hoping these sucked. 😂 Cuz now I'm intrigued. I just went on their site and they also have a "spiral lotion" lightweight styling creme that looks great for fine hair and has no coconut oil! It has ingredients that usually do well for me like aloe, polyquats, pumpkin seed oil.... I'm actually not sure why I've never tried this brand. I've heard of them, but this is the 1st review I've seen! And I'm on the website & it's not familiar looking so I guess I never looked into it. I know a lot of people on naturally curly's site mention this brand. I SWORE after ordering the new curlsmith oil was gonna stop buying stuff for a month, but now this came along. So after this I really will stop. Really. 👀

I saw that spiral lotion too but went with the cream because I LOVE a thick curl cream! Although, I’m thinking I need to try more of their stuff! The quality is great! I remember seeing them talked about a lot on naturally curly’s site years ago (I stopped going on the site a long time ago) and wanting to try them out then. No idea why I didn’t. I’m glad I finally did though. So worth it! You’ll have to let me know how they work for you! I’ll keep an eye out on your Instagram too.

Hi there! I’ve started using Mixed Chicks shampoo, not the sulfate free one and their deep conditioner. I didn’t get their leave in cause I remember not being a fan. I’m curious if you’d give them a shot and let us know your thoughts. The conditioner has silicone which my grayish hair is appreciating

I’ll add them to my list! Thank you for watching!

I truly wish my curls would get over their hatred of coconut oil. SO many curl products have that ingredient. It took me awhile to realize what the culprit was - it's the only single ingredient that my hair just refuses to wear. I've come across a few other curlies who don't tolerate it well, but not many. I can sometimes get away with a well formulated rinse off conditioner that has it more towards the bottom of the list, but that's literally it. I know it's beneficial for hair too - assuming it doesn't create a weird waxy, sticky shell around each strand, causing a brittle hay like feel, like it does to me 😂

There really are a ton of products with coconut oil in them. You gotta love hair having a mind of its own!

I haven’t tried any of Curl Junkies stylers. I’ve used their protein conditioner and it’s nice. I wondered about that curl cream: would it smell like coffee ☕️?? 😂😂 I’d buy anything coffee or pumpkin 🎃 scented 😂 LOL which is kinda ironic bc I am fragrance sensitive BUT food scent don’t bother me. 😜 I also have CJ’s deep conditioner that’s supposedly strawberry 🍓 scented but I underwhelmed by the scent. Not bad but worth the $$.

After this, I definitely need to try more of their stuff! I was a little disappointed the cream didn’t smell like coffee. How cool would that be?! My fragrance sensitivity is weird. It’s 100% connected to my migraines and just when I think I’ve learned to avoid everything that will try to basically kill me, something new pops up or I find that something I couldn’t do all of a sudden is fine. I don’t get it. But I LOVE coffee and coffee scents! Thank you for watching!
