I tried it and my hair ended up looking like a regular flat wash and go. Your hair looks good and better because of the length. I have tighter curls that shrivel up to nothing despite my hair being long. I wouldn’t necessarily say the wet look though. I think if it hair was more pinned back and slick, it would be more of the wet look, but your hair still looks good 💯

My hair is also very thick and dense so when I try this it’s very flat when it’s wet but once it dries it gets bigger it’s my favorite wash and go style it also last longer and starts to get bigger everyday u wear it but I don’t think there’s anything u can do to change it to be more flat but thank u I have the same hair as u and I’m glad Ik there’s other people out there with the same thick voluminous hair as me

As I said on tic too we have the same hair 😍but it so dense...but it so beautiful... People love wearing wigs with those types of curls so not to worry bout it being dense it's a blessing... N it turned out great ❤️

we have very similiar hair, adn ive never tried this mielle hair gel but im gonna buy it tomorrow, volume is my biggewst insecurity and because of it I never wear my hair with leaving tied or doing a slick back. idk if I should try to accept my volume or if I should just keep trying to leave my hair flat, idk if its because its so unhealthy that when I use gel it get all shrunk up and frizzy, just doesnt work for me idk why :(((

Your dry results looked so beautiful!! As far as the “wet look”, I would say no but it looked beautiful nonetheless!!! I think had you sat under a hooded dryer instead it would have been more flat bc the diffuser gives volume. If you do it again try it that way! I also wish the camera was lower & more zoomed in for this.. but overall this was definitely a look! 🖤

I think it may have been a bit flatter if you didn't defuse it. When I use my defuser, I typically go for volume and even if the wet hair feeling SUCKS when you have longer and thicker hair, to achieve the wet look I have seen people air dry with a satin scarf on to lay it down more. The results as a wash and go were GORGEOUS though, the length retention was real

Maybe a heavy cream could your hair look more like a wet look 🤔. Since I use a cream my hair has much less volume. My hair looks exactly like yours, but I don't have that much of it like you. Normally I use a whipped Sheabutter cream with almond oil on top of the styling product (I am not heavy handed with the cream).

Pretty but with your density perhaps not the best style. Also with so much gel, you really need a cheap one otherwise hello bancruptcy 😂😂. Great to showcase your length. Next washday a clarifying shampoo would be needed.

None of the products she used to style require a “clarifying” shampoo.. & Eco Styler is pretty cheap 😏😏😏
