This was my favorite crop of 3yos in a long time. I saw Curlin win the breeder's cup, Street Sense win the travers, and hard spun win the King's Bishop. This was a really great year for racing and I was so happy when they decided to run Curlin as a 4yo.

Who knew that Calvin Borel would go on from the KY Derby to win 2 more times in the next 3 years and the preakness! Curlin was great, can`t wait till his foals (especially the Rachel Alexandra/Curlin one that may come into existance, god willing) hit the track! RIP Barbaro
