I liked both sides. Never tried the Curls before, but I use the As I Am a lot. It gives me quite a bit more definition than what you got from it. I just love how different products work so differently on the various hair textures of hair. I also use their twisting cream for many of my wng's.

Why didn’t you use the products on their own? Without the Shea Moisture soufflé product under it.

Because in general jelly products are intended as styling products, but for my texture of hair, just using one product after washing doesn't provide enough moisture. Generally stylers are meant to be used with some kind of leave-in conditioner, not on their own.

I was hoping you would show the dry results after you style your hair and maybe next day hair. Have you ever did a video on your styling process? Like how you pick your hair out when it drys from a fresh wash and go. Good video.

Hi Mary, Quick question, when you use the Shea Moisture Curling Gel Soufflé, do you notice any white residue a day or two after using the product. I used it prior to using an Eco Styler gel and I had beautiful curls but the next day, my hair was sticky and I had white residue in my hair. Just curious if you had a similar experience.

I would say, try them out and see. At the time of trying them, my hair was dyed so it was medium-high porosity.

To answer your question, I've never experienced white flakes, I use the Curling Gel Souffle sparingly because it is sticky but maybe you used too much? Use less and see how that works.
