@@arctaex I watched the first video and got many of those products. They were good, and I was happy with the recommendations. But it's been 5 years and what is available on the market has changed. Plus the condition of their hair has changed significantly. I for one appreciate that they are being honest about what they have changed. I have never felt that I was steered wrong by this channel, so I don't believe that they are just promoting products for a video!!!

I was lost. Mine is somewhere between Mel and Amanda, maybe even the cousins waves. The straightening and heat damage has wrecked my hair. But I've been trying out a few different products they use and their techniques and it's been huge! I used to only be able to wear my hair in a ponytail when it's curly and now I can wear it down for days. Life changing for me! Just start small and see what works.

As the only person in my family with curly hair, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to having curls. I used to wash my hair every day and use soooo much conditioner (on my scalp too) just to detangle my hair. I finally started reading blogs about what to do with my curls once I started to lose my curls. I noticed about a year ago that my hair started to look pretty much straight. I knew I had to do something about it. It wasn’t until I found your videos that I had hope for my curls to be healthy again! I had no idea what to do before watching this channel! My entire routine is inspired by tips that I have learned from this channel! Thank you so much for helping me and so many others start their not only healthy but defined curl journey! 🙂

The head massager has been my adaptive product. I have 5 fingers on my good arm-this made my routine possible. Also really helps to get my hair off my scalp when it’s sweaty before a refresh without a ton of frizz. Mine is as essential as my brush. Secondly, I have tons of hard water and I use the Malibu Hard Water wellness about every 6 weeks and have a shower head filter.

I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and I think I’ve bought almost majority of the products you’ve approved and they have become staples in my wash cycle and it’s saved my hair so much I’m obsessed with the verb products and the EVANYC deep conditioner smells like cotton candy 🥰

Did you wait a long time for yours? Waiting to hear from them about why my 7/3 order hasn’t shipped. Want to try it on my fine curls too!

@barbaraplante2881 Not terribly long. I ordered on July 4th, it was delivered on the 15th, and I'm in California.

Happy Texture Tuesday + Thursday to both of you and so awesome to see how far you've come in your curly hair journey. Similar to me I have come a very long way because I used to only use mousse on my wash & go days, no leave in, styling cream or heat protectant, I didn't know what the benefit of wearing a bonnet was and I wouldn't even deep condition before which now is definitely a must for me, especially in the winter time. Sadly, every time I would purchase a blow dryer I would throw away the diffuser attachment because I had zero knowledge of what the benefits of it was. So, eventhough my journey may be different than both of you, I'm still 100% glad to have found your channel to help me tweak and perfect any hair concerns I had before.

I LOVE Amanda's dark hair. I was coloring my hair red for the last 30 yrs and I just colored it back to my original darker color and I am really liking it. I am contemplating letting my gray come in so we will see. I use my scalp brush to massage my head when I have a headache. I was not a huge brush styling person until I got the Bounce Curl brush. Love it!
