Mel, I am so happy I found your videos online. Ever since I was a little girl I had no idea how to really manage and style my thick coarse curly hair (my hair resembles your sisters almost exactly). My mother and siblings all have super straight hair and I was the oddball. My mother also did not know how to really do my hair. It was always long, tied in a ponytail and braided. It was great to see you both in this video. I would say that my hair is worn curly in the fall, winter and spring and then in the summer it is air-dried with a tiny wave or straight as the humidity makes it fall no matter what it is sealed with. It is also long and as soon as it is pulled up it messes it up as it is wavy.

I have 2C/3A curls that is soooo long (it hovers right above my crack 😂) and my wash, styling, and drying routine takes almost TWO hours 😭 I’m growing it as long as I can to donate it and I am SO excited to use your bob tutorial to cut my hair when it’s time!!! 😊 Your tips over the years have helped me grow my locks this long. I wash my hair every two weeks *gasp* and on the second week when my hair starts to get oily, I drench it in a mix of coconut/castor oil, detangle, and braid my hair in French braids. I feel this has really helped maintain the health of my hair!

Might you address the progress to silver hair and which products are best for it? I'm not going to color it as I earned every I've of them. But... some silvers have grown in as streaks (think Cruella deVille, which I like), but other silvers have grown in like insect antennae and have a different texture. @ManesByMell I have an older sister an oi we snip and laugh and get sick of each other, hahah all the things. At one point during Amanda's bangs her face was pure 💯 Annoyed. I thought she might have just walked off camera. That said, though your chippy technique for.S waves is good, I don't think it suited her. I liked the lift and cowlick, but the side bangs landed right at eye level evenly on both sides making her eyes and forehead look boxed in. It's still cute just not suited for her I think. Damn I just rambled. Haha

Ah id loved to see a travel/packing video as I just got home from flying away on spring break and had to pay an extra 100$ bc I went over the IMPOSSIBLE 40lb limit with my check on luggage probably bc all my “beauty” products and I refuse to buy the travel size of every product. Also how you guys get ready quick on vacation bc I never had time to do my full routines bc vacation was so busy with all the family/kids and I don’t want to waste any time getting ready when I can be enjoying my vacation with my family I don’t get to see much!
