I understand that part about the curls acting funny the first 72 hours. First day my curls were snatched! 2nd day I woke and was like 'HARPO! WHO DIS WOMAN?!' 😄 Then 3rd day I was back to my curl pattern I left the salon with 😥

Thank youu 💞 I try to do a wash like 3-4 days to 1 week prior and stretch my hair (braids, etc). I would detangle some but they’re going to wash again when you come in. I would not suggest an old wash and go as those can be kind of tangly...unless you like braid it up the night before

My curls haven’t fallen and I waited a year between my last touch up. The main thing is just not to brush/stretch your hair out right after your appointment, after that it’s pretty easy breezy but yeah it’s still human hair that needs to be cared for from time to time💞

This time I got grey and some pink rods✨ yup I leave my hair out. After the first 2 nights I still sleep with my hair out...sometimes I’ll part it in the back of my head or flip it up so I dont have crazy hair in the morning, but a sprinkle of water fixes any wild hair

@@TiaBenie Quick question Titi: So I called HairsTalent 2days ago and talked to Gina's daughter to clarify a few things prior to my 1st Gina Curl appointment here in Atl next month. One of the things she said was that either you or Niah asked them to switch up was to request or have them use the 'lighter strength' product application so that you could 'have more *texture* ' with your end result, versus them usually using the 'regular strength' product, which gives a more sleek curl result. She advised this for me since I have thinner natural hair. So, was that difference in product strength *texture difference* noticeably better and 'fuller' for you this time with your Gina curl redults, compared to your prior 2 procedures?'

Yeah chlorine is no good for hair in general so I’ve just been good about hitting the showers-wetting my hair before and rinsing after. If swimming regularly/daily like for a swim team, I would wear a swim cap✨

Yeah, I like to reset the curl by wetting it and letting it dry. To fix some frizzy curls throughout the week I use a little water and cantu leave-in💞

It's helpful to let the curls finish setting as the first few days the chemical structure is not completely stabilized. As you experienced, and I shared in this video, the curls should still be fine if you choose not to sleep on you face. It certainly is not the most comfortable position, but helpful for best longterm curl results💖
