Since it only takes one generation to forget I would like to remind our younger generation that this technique is not new. This technique was originally invented by a man of color by the name of Comer Cottrell. His product was called the Jheri Curl. He died in 2014. The only difference is the maintenance products. Exact same process exact same look. So before we give away credit for his work let us make sure we remember who originally came up with this process. If you listen to Gina's story she will tell you she originally did Jheri Curls of the original Jheri Curl process back in the day. Rebranding something does not make it new.

I used to do the same thing to my kitchen. You should try braiding it into a couple of single braids when you are wearing the rest of your hair out. That way, you can pull on the entire braid instead of single strands which are more likely to break. I’ve been doing it for a few years and it’s working well

I did The Gina’s curl procedure it didn’t work out for me. I was shedding like crazy everyday, the product cause me to have scalp irritation. My hair was getting thinner and thinner until I cut it off. I think the chemical was too strong for my hair. What don’t worked for may worked for you. Good luck to everyone who wants to try it.

My hair is still breaking with the GinaCurl. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I was thinking maybe my hair needs protein treatment which I can’t get with the GinaCurl. I’m taking really good care of it now with my retouch. I still see breakage pieces. Are you using any soft protein treatment at all? Or hair mask?

Your hair coming out from the scalp is worse than breakage from split ends or just chopping off of one strand and the other half is still in the follicle.
@TiaBenie3 жыл бұрын
Normal shedding that you get all over your body✨ thé average human loses 50-100 Hairs a day😊 and if you don’t brush your hair everyday there’s going to be some hair that needs to be removed eventually💖the cycle continues and it grows back 😁
