Gabrielle Cunningham that’s exactly what I noticed her hair was fuller in her video 9months ago. Idk I believe it’s because the chemical is the same as a relaxer and we all know relaxers thins out hair no matter what you do.
@sey66374 жыл бұрын
Lola D with all due respect, it’s not a relaxer because a relaxer’s purpose is to straighten the hair, but she actually got a gina curl which is basically a curly perm, so the effect are obviously not similar to a perm, but i do agree her hair was thicker + fuller a couple months agi

See I every time I think of getting a curly perm or/and curly perm videos like these updates reminds me why getting a texlaxer was a huge mistake after. Of course I loved it at first because my hair was soooooooo thick and long but then started to thin out like yours did compared to how thick and lushes your hair was at first. That's my only downfall. Cute but then our hair slowly starts to get thin even though the length still remains and I hate that 😭😭😭😭😩😩😩😩 This is cute but I think I'm going to stay natural! You almost convinced me with your first few videos till this update 😭😭😭😭☹️

Hello again! I do a natural protein treatment on my curly perm once a month. I blend avocado, olive oil and egg. So I’m a little bit worried about what you said about protein. Will it still damage my hair even though it’s all natural ingredients? I really need the protein treatment because my hair is really thin and protein is the only thing that makes it get thicker :(

I think she has good results because she had very thick long 4c hair that was virgin, she used small rods, and she also does not straighten her hair. Every thin hair girl I've seen looks terrible. But she's only gotten a touch up once so I wonder how this will look in a few years.

I just don’t understand why anyone would want to get/spend so much money on a “Gina curl” when you can do an at home Thio free acid perm without the straightening cream. The Gina curl is nothing but a relaxer with a perm/acid curl. It’s actually quite funny because those “perms” are marketed towards women with straighter hair & relaxers seem to always be marketed towards curly girls. I’ve done soo much research on this, & it’s ‘better’ to do a salon quality thio-free “acid rinse’ on 4type hair with no relaxers

This is what I’m doing this week and I only live 2 hours from Gina’s salon. It’s just not worth it and I’m scared my hair will look stringy and thin out.

T. Moore Do you know how hard it is to manage for 4c hair ??!!! I bet u don’t but talking all that shit
@Icyjessy14 жыл бұрын
It's a styling option no more no less because I have really thick 3c/4a hair and it still takes 2hrs plus to detangle because it's so thick.But I'm sure if half of people that use relaxer and perms had really thick 3c hair, they wouldn't change their hair no matter how long it takes. I also wish they'd stop saying 4c hair is unmanageable because my sister's 4c hair takes way less time to manage. It's a matter of preference. Looser curls to kinks. You only put in the time to take care of what you love
@abbb82384 жыл бұрын
Napsagain09 it’s kinda sad you feel that way. I have 4C hair too. But I love it and it’s thick. I actually enjoy wash day.
