When I had locs, I cut bangs and they were fabulous! I really loved them and I would latch hook the bangs and retwist the rest of my locs so they can fall properly. They were really beautiful. I was inspired by Nerissa Irving. I think yours look really nice. 💖

I think the bangs frame your face nicely. Bangs are also a nice way for people to refrain from pulling all of their front locs back tightly which can cause receding. My mom has had locs for over 20 years and she always kept loc bangs, she has no receding.

LOL!! No It was just stuck to my face, idk why! I was editing the video, like "Why is this one loc stuck to my cheek?!" I put extensions on my bangs for a few months until the rest of my hair grew in. Did you try that? Or reattach your locs?

I think bangs only work on locs if you have small locs and they are full! But, for each its own😉

To bang or not to bang. Years ago, I asked my stylist for bangs and she said no. Bangs are for babies. I definitely would have regretted it.

Yeah I don't think bangs are for everyone, but now I like them (most days). Faux bangs are much easier to rock and then go back to the full length.

I get nervous when you start manipulating your Locs, cause it always seem to lead to a big chop...lol. BTW I do love the bangs they are good when you want a change and then blend them in with the rest of your hair.

I really appreciate your videos. I feel like my loc experience has been ONE BIG LEARNING EXPERIENCE. I decided to cut bags (Cleopatra style) this summer to go with my VERY SHORT bob. It eventually resulted in the hair in the front being TOO SHORT. I also decided that I didn't want that bang style and went back bangs with a side part. It has since shrunken and now I feel like I am pretty much starting over, but I am prepared for it. I have also been able to get the RIGHT side of my hair the way that I want it, but now I have to be patient and work with the left side. Working with it means letting it grow out and mature before cutting it again, LOL!

Please also consider how mature your locs are. Cutting them prematurely could result in the loc hair in the bang area coming loose.
