I used to watch your videos and think 'this is too much, I'm not doing all of this' meanwhile you're cutting and regrowing hair faster than I can blink and I'm over it, I say! I've been following your recommendations for almost 2 months now and my hair has grown at least 2 inches. I got my hair straightened recently and my hair dresser thinks I've been cheating on her with another stylist. She even said that I didn't need my ends clipped. WHAT?! I haven't heard that from her in over 5 years! The dedication and willingness to share your knowledge is amazing. Thank you!

@@fashionistaxVx Its about 15 to 20 mins or less. I deep condition while in the shower. So I do a full body exfoliation with either a sugar, or salt scrub. Then a full body Oatmeal, and Honey treatment. Which is pretty much bathing with the soap I make. Then I shower with my actual soap, and once I'm done with that rinse out my deep conditioner. Which is also like a quick skin treatment after showering.

Great way to remind us to remain with the basics. Real gamer changers for my journey 1. DC’ing with a steamer weekly/refresher. 2. regular scalp massages with oil. 3. Henna and rhassoul clay treatments. 4. Consistent use of Liquid biotin and other vitamin and minerals. My chief goal is to never let my problem areas get too dried out. I see major setbacks when my regimen goes off track.

My arsenal of hair care ingredients is growing now. I don’t have to purchase as many herbs as I did when I first got started. The only thing I need to pick up now is the msm. I had been having a bi weekly hair day, but since I live in a large city the debris in my hair is too much for me to handle. I was doing two twists. I now do a weekly hair day. Wash and deep condition and style. Then the next week I do an intense, pre poo, amla, henna mask, deep conditioner. Detangle, brush and style. This week I am going to do a rice water rinse and maybe some fenugreek powder. I ground up some seeds. I have been itching to use it. Curly no need to even mention the mommy body. You’re a beauty. Cause we mommies are cute however we roll. Be blessed ‼️‼️‼️

Hello, wow! You sound a lot like me and we have a lot in common hair wise with all the herbs. I do my hair twice a week. The only thing we do different is I don't do pre-poo or maybe we call it something else? I've been living holistic since 16 yo. I love Ayurvedic practices and all wonderful ingredients. I am herbalist, certified aromatherapist and I love incorporating all of that into not just hair care but every aspect of my health and beauty regimen. I do masks also every two weeks maybe 3 depending on how busy I am. I'm so glad to see so many people embracing it in America.

SaSSy RareBreed Yesssss. How are you! I didn’t always pre poo, but my hair was brittle because the powders were drying my hair out. Once I started pre pooing, my hair stopped breaking. I have used the herbs since 2008. My hair and skin won’t tolerate any chemicals. I was traveling for work for awhile and kept my hair cut short. I am now growing my hair out and the herbs are so gentle and nurturing. I use the clays for my body and I make my own oils for my skin. I’m so glad you reached out‼️‼️ I’ll look for your screen name whenever Curly posts an update.

@@geerowr.6666 hi, I'm not sure if you ever thought about this or tried it but when you're using those powders to make our mask, have you tried using organic whole Leaf aloe vera powder? It depends on how much you're making. I believe the rule is 5% aloe vera powder per total grams of all the powders you're using in your mask. Hope I said that right. My hair is long, I have to-use at least 200g-250g when making a mask. I would use 2 and 1/2 teaspoons of aloe vera powder to my recipe . It adds so much moisture it's a game changer . You might want to think about that when you're making these masks give it a try . Let me know if you give it a try and how it works .

I agree...she's so humble and genuine that's why she feels so relatable. I've used her suggested oils and I've seen thickness and growth for my entire head. I just want to share that black seed oil is a game changer for my tension alopecia on my edges (apply every day and spritz with water - edges have dormant follicles and supporting growth now! ). This helps more than the wildly suggested black Castrol oil. Black Castrol oil helps rest of my hair grow super thick and fast, however.

The MSM- Brand Holland & Barrett ingredients of unnecessary fillers>*Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a term for refined *wood pulp* and is used as a texturizer, an anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, and a bulking agent in food production. The most common form is used in vitamin supplements or tablets. Anti Caking_*Silicon dioxide (SiO2), also known as silica, is a natural compound made of two of the earth’s most abundant materials: silicon (Si) and oxygen (O2). Silicon dioxide is most often recognized in the form of quartz. It’s found naturally in water, plants, animals, and the earth. The earth’s crust is 59 percent silica. It makes up more than 95 percent of known rocks on the planet. When you sit on a beach, it’s silicon dioxide in the form of sand that gets between your toes. Silicon Dioxide is naturally from plants, such as: leafy green vegetables beets bell peppers brown rice oats alfalfa *Hydroxypropyl methylcelluloseor (HPMC) is a semi-synthetic food additive that is also used in some supplements. free-flowing powder that is a synthetic modification of the natural polymer, cellulose. As an excipient, HPMC may be added to liquid drops for the eyes because it extends lubricant time. In oral tablets, HPMC works to control the release of active ingredients. That means nutrients in supplements can make it through stomach acid and be absorbed deeper in your digestive tract. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is even sometimes used as a replacement for gluten in bread-making and as a substitute for animal gelatin, which is why it is sometimes used in vegetarian capsules. But because it is not all-natural, and is also used in certain construction materials - such as adhesives - some people are opposed to having it in their supplements. I found that an turn off to use this brand of MSM because of the fillers. An much more organic MSM ORGANIC SULFUR Crystals WITHOUT FILLER I just bought this brand from No Boundaries Health and Wellness maybe a choice to try without fillers or flow agents quadruple distillation method .No fILLERS AT ALL www.organicsulfurhelps.com/pages/faqs

Hello ,I really like your videos and started watching them in December of last year. Very informative and most appreciate when you take your time explaining everything of all natural products, homemade and commercial products for your hair and let the viewing followers to see and decide to use. Your hair is beautiful and it comes form dedication and care with wonderful results. I wish you could come to Philadelphia one day for a hair show speaking about Ayurvedic Hair care. Some types of hair such as mine that is thick and coarse with strands of the loose (S) shape and cork screw spirals when it is wet. I always had problems with conditioning in my life time. Deep conditioning or when leaving the conditioner on the hair for 1/2 hour is bad that it cause my hair to be too soft. The twist looks nice when putting them in but when unloosing to wear them out it looks frizzy, puffing looking and cannot even get a spiral definition what so ever. This time I was the hair and used no conditioner and used Olive oil mixed with a few drops of Rosemary essential oil that is for keeping the hair from graying or slows it down tremendously and keeps the hair stands strong. And Rosemary oil mixed with shea butter and olive oivle or sunflower oil to use on the skin keeps the skin elasticity. I have been using organic essential oils of Argan, Evening Primrose, Geranium Rose,Tananmu oil, Olive Oil,Sunflower oil, Kokum Butter Garcinia indica, a plant in the mangosteen family, Murumuru Butter, Helps retain moisture in both skin and hair when applied Keeps hair and skin hydrated Highly anti-oxidative, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic Extremely moisturizing and gentle enough for the most sensitive skin Absorbs quickly, to the deeper layers of skin Restores skin elasticity Rich emollient to treat dry and cracked skin, as well as conditions such as psoriasis and eczema Restores natural shine and softness of hair, adding gloss Improves hair flexibility, making dry or frizzy hair more manageable (particularly beneficial for Afro-ethnic hair care regimens) Treats dry or damaged hair Shea butter and Babassu oil I am making a cream butter for my hair with these butters and oils in when melting what you need in double boiler then add your choice of a scented essential oil like I used Geranium Rose then put it in the freezer to let it solidify but not frozen. Then you take it out the freezer and use a hand stick blender to whip it up in a creamy constancy.I have been seeing a lot of hair and body butters recipes and wanted to try one.

This may seem like a basic/silly question but I've been wondering about it for a while now. I've been watching videos about how to maintain and grow natural hair for a long time now and I would really love to implement the things I've learnt BUT I am white, meaning that while I do have naturally curly hair, it is obviously very different to the natural hair in most videos about how to take care of curly hair. My question: can these practices be applied to white people curly hair, or do they not translate well? Any help appreciated, thank you :)

By the way, because I have problems using my hands, wash day takes everything out of me and a lot of hours,so I often skip combing through my hair between, and it's still well detangled with just my fingers during the washing.

In my research I found that these practices are ubiquitous and I didn't even realize it. The problem was the lossof knowledgeable passed down, colonialism strikes again… Anyway, you helped jump start my seeking deeper knowledge. One thing I did was research native American herbs used for hair care. I figure I live in this area why not use the herbs that are available. I also have native American heritage that was completely lost. I'll be getting in touch with those roots!! Thank you. I'm one of thousands who truly appreciate your contribution to shared knowledge!!

hello! 1ts time watcher (well I'm 3 current videos in 😃), and New subscriber! I recently chopped my hair, it's thick as all heck but maybe your texture/ low porosity and protein sensitive. My question is - To start what regimen would you recommend to start (with ingredients you have talked about)? Or maybe refer to a video of yours...

I wasn’t sure if you had done any videos on scalp care but do you have any advice on how to moisturize dry itchy scalp? There’s a lot of videos on here on this topic but they all use oil as moisturizers and not real moisturizers. Thanks again for another helpful video!

Hi Beautiful!! I’m a new to your channel!! Your amazing! Keep doing what your doing!! ❤️🥰 I heard soo much about you from @NaturallyMary love her! ❤️🥰 and I love it how everyone, women and men support everyone on KZbin! We learn from each other. I absolutely love it! 🥰❤️ Your amazing a lot to learn I have so far everything I need to start my healthy hair growth journey! 🥰 I just want to make sure when I start taking the MSM with the Vitamin C you mention a multi vitamin which I have but, Lords knows I’m not constant with taking it but, that will change. Is that sufficient those three things or should I also take a oil pill as well? I can talk and I can do it typing as well! Sorry! Lol

I don’t like the tangle teezer... it was the only thing I changed in my routine and I noticed I was getting split ends. I did a google search and found out that I wasn’t the only on that started getting slips ends from the product. I use my fingers for detangling.

C.H238 H GM🙋🏾‍♀️ you may have to look at some other Curly Proverbz DIY videos. In some recipes she uses msm and others she doesn’t. I take MSM orally by following the directions on packaging. If you decide to use msm powder please use it with vitamin c; it helps with absorption.
