As a south Indian ,and proudly from the district of Tirupati,I have always felt sad for temples in north before Modi Ji was prime minister that the temples were least taken care off . Thanks to the entire team of Modi who helped rennovating these many focal points of power and spirituality.

During medieval period, 40 thousands temples were demolished in north and west india since all the invasion were from north east i.e persia, mongolia, turkey..... North and west temple were more vulnerable to attack and since South Indian temples were far from frontiers so they remain Undemolished.. I am South Indian and i read about this in one of the article in the hindu newspaper ... We should be proud of our civilization and religion...
